There's a small, but frustrated sound as he realises he almost said it again out of nothing but sheer habit, and he quickly shuts his mouth to prevent more dumb things coming out of there. Come on, Inigo, get it together!

Does Inigo not realise he could just literally do it himself? It doesn't sound like he's saying it to avoid bringing that up or anything, he more just sounds straight up oblivious.
