However, old coffee cans were pretty useful for making drums for Morgan or containers to catch lightning bugs. So there was some use to them even if it wasn't for tasting the awful, cheap coffee.

Somehow he manages to remember not to actually mention Morgan in front of Gwen. He wasn't ready for Peter to know about the future, after all.
