jelly 6 - ready for summer
Who: Red Team and associates
Where: Training Gym
When: Morning of Jelly 6 (forward-dating to when they get the mission brief so we have some time)
What: Light rounds people up for a Red pre-mission meeting, since there's been some shuffling in the roster since the last one.
Warnings: TBA
With a brief so underwhelmingly sparse, Light would normally just leave everyone to it. But there's been some losses and gains in the Red team over the past month, and she's not exactly confident that everyone knows what they're meant to be doing. She's not confident that she knows enough about the new faces to trust them on their own, for one thing.
After last mission, she figures the least she can do is tap the shoulder of anyone she recognises as being on her team - or anyone who tends to tag along in the team regardless of hoodie - and ask them to come to the training gym after breakfast.
"We need to discuss the mission," she'll say, intonation giving them her exact opinion - unimpressed - on the information.
At the training gym, she's unpacked a few of the available supplies and fetched a spare handful of earpieces from the music carriage. They won't have that much time between the brief and their arrival on the world, from experience, so she wants to get everything sorted fast.
[ OOC: this is a meeting so if you want to threadjack and answer/respond to things, feel free to do so; if you don't want people to threadjack, just say 'closed' in your subject line. <3 Tag around, meet your fellow lone wolves etc. ]

mission - mingle in one thread, OTA
Sounds great, really. She folds her arms, and then consciously unfolds them again. "Let's discuss. Anyone been to a biosphere before?"
Apart from her, but she wants to hear from everyone else.

Tony, on the other hand...The question earns a somewhat exaggerated shake of the fireball to signify in no uncertain terms that Prisoner had not.

Natsuno was listening, vaguely and while he didn't know what a biosphere was, he didn't really want to ask. Did it matter in the end?
They were just being dumped where the train dumped them.

Finally, he sighs. Meetings like this where no one speaks just makes the stupid things last longer than they should. "While I can fight, the train seems confused about my actual responsibilities. I am Death Incarnate, but I specialize in those fated to die a gentle death. The violent ones are handled by others."
Or maybe the train just wanted him around to make sure things died. Period.

She has never heard of a biosphere and had indicated that with a quick shake of her head to Priestess Lightning from where she stood, tiny amongst her larger team members.
But this mans words had made her look up at him, wrinkling her nose.

That's probably the guy with a ball of fire for a head.
There's a silent head-shake on the bio sphere question from her, too, but at least one of them seems to have a clue. That's something.
Alley sure as shit doesn't.

She knew that from being on so many bases in various countries. "In any case, sites of this sort always have guidelines-if not some sort of manual. Given how much they depend on these, it seems careless to not have anything on how to maintain them."
People make mistakes afterall, no matter how well they're trained.

"I mean, do we have to really know how it works?"
supplies - separate threads probably, OTA
[ OOC: see the supplies spreadsheet, note that there are multiple tabs ]

That being the flat, black metal bar standing in for her shield arm, from just a few inches below the elbow and down. No attempt at any kind of prosthetic hand, here. Just two holes for actual literal bolts.
no subject
"I'll see about getting you first pick." She's fairly sure she can make that promise, all told, given the scarcity of shield users. "You used to something larger?"
no subject
By the time the next mission rolls around, she's determined to have her own shield back with her where it belongs.

Are you going to be tracking him, roomie?
questions - threads, OTA
47, helping w/questions - OTA
his bondedLightning. He was used to this sort of thing at least. Pretending to be something he was not was his thing after all."I can help you with supplies or any mission questions you may have," he informed the next person that looked like they were waiting for Lightning while she was busy with someone else's questions.
