Xion had gone back to their cabin to look through the notes she had made during the day, sitting on her bunk, a few of her sea shells in her lap as she considered. Her eyes were on the page but her mind was a million miles away, still reeling over the answer from the train and the questions she had since the winter faire thing.

Her hood was up, because she didn't know when their roommates might come back, but she was so lost in thought that she didn't notice when the door actually did open...

She looked up when he spoke and closed her notebook, setting it aside so she could pay attention as he spoke. She gave the mochi an odd look from under her hood when he first presented them, confused. But when he explained she smiled a bit. And even laughed softly when he said he tried to make them look like shells for her. She looked up again when he was done talking. "For me?" she asked to clarify. "Or for us?" He seemed like he always was trying to get her to try new things....

"Eh, a bit for both of us," Lea said. "You'll see why once you try one. But this batch is mostly for you. Call it an extra gift." Of course, he'd happily help her eat them if she wanted him to, but he wanted her to try one first.

She still wasn't clear on the whole.. gift... thing but nodded a bit. Since it was just them, she lowered her hood and shifted over so he could sit too if he wanted to. "Alright," she said. She didn't like things that were too sweet, but he knew that, so maybe she'd like this? Or was it going to be like when he thought she'd like making new friends. She wasn't sure what to expect.

Lea sat down next to her and offered her the bowl of mochi. When she took one, she'd notice that they were cold to the touch, which offered a hint as to what the filling might be. And when she bit into them beyond the lightly sweet rice dough, she would find that they were filled with a very familiar tasting ice cream.

"Well?", Lea asked. "What do you think?"

"Oh!" she said startled when she picked one up. It was cold and.. soft. She felt her fingers press into it, even through the gloves. She squshed it a little, experimentally, then took a bite. Her eyes widened and she stared at him, shocked. "H...how?" she asked, wide eyed. She would be smiling but she was too busy enjoying.

Lea grinned. "Turns out, there's an ice cream maker on board," he said. "Getting the taste right took awhile though, especially since I kinda had to sneak around a little to work on it; I wanted it to be a surprise."

"There's no molds or anything on board right now to put it on sticks like we're used to, so I'll have to get some later. But the point is, you don't have to spend all your points on ice cream now. You can save them or buy other stuff if you want."

Her eyes went huge as she finished the last of the mochi he gave her. "There is a thing on the train that MAKES ice cream? And we won't get in trouble for using it?" She asked.

Other than potions or ethers, which she seemed to be doing fine without, what else did she need?

"Two of them, actually," Lea said. "Though only one of them makes the kind we need; the other one makes soft-serve, which is made a bit differently than regular ice cream. It's, well, softer, and wouldn't make good ice cream bars."

"Not that we can make any ice cream bars anyway, until I get some molds and sticks; that was the other reason behind the mochi. I needed another way to make it portable and easy to handle. But the ice cream itself we can make no problem."

"And we won't get in any trouble for using them; they're there for anyone on the train to use, after all. Though most of the ingredients in the ice cream are used in a lot of other stuff too, so we don't wanna use them all up, in case other people need them before the restock on platform day."

"Can we get more supplies, so we can have all we want without making anyone have less?" She asked. Ideas were spinning in her head over this. They could have ice cream all the time, not just once a day then, right? Since they didn't have sunsets anyway?

"Not in enough quantity to make any real difference," Lea said. "We'll just have to wait for the platform day restock."

"And I know what you're thinking, no, this isn't an excuse to stop having regular meals and try to live solely on ice cream. Trust me, as fun as it sounds, the results wouldn't be good. What it does mean though, is that we won't have to be quite so careful about our supply of ice cream or save the extras in case Roxas turns back up; if he does, we can just make more that day, instead of having to wait for platform day for more to be dropped off."

She considered that. Then nodded. "So instead of points on ice cream we should spend points on the things that make ice cream?" She.. might have missed the, well, point.

Lea chuckled. "No," he said. "Like I said, even if you did, you probably wouldn't be able to get enough of them in one go to make to much of a difference in regards to the train's supplies. What it means is now you can save up your points so if you come across something that's not ice cream related that you really want, you'll be able to get it."

"Like what?" she asked, confused. Unless it could bring Roxas back... what else could she want?

"Well, I don't know," Lea said. "But you'll know if you come across it. If you need a place to start though, you could maybe see if you could get some books about subjects you want to know more about."

"I guess..." she said, looking down at her hands as she thought. "But sometimes the books just confuse me more," she admitted.

"Well if you need some help understanding them, I'll try and lend you a hand," Lea said. "Or if I don't understand either, I can try and point you at someone who can help you."

She considered, then nodded. That was how things were, after all. She asked questions, Axel answered them. And she all but ignored his admission that there were things he didn't understand. Because he's Axel.

"I'll think about it," she said.

He would not be surprised to find out that she ignored the important part there. Because Xion.

"Alright then," he said. "Now that that's mostly settled, we should eat these before they melt." And that, at least would need no debate.
