Make the Clock Reverse (Day 22 Jelly)
Bring back what once was mine.
On the evening of Day 21, before it goes dark, any Voidtreckers who look out of the windows might see the void is a little more chaotic than usual. There's a little bit of turbulence. Nothing too bad, nowhere near how bad it got during the void storm, but noticeable all the same.
It doesn't last long, and the night continues. Those who are not early to bed may see the odd golden flicker out of the corner of their eyes, darting away and vanishing if pursued.
Strange...
Change the fates' design.
"Good Morning passengers. Today is day twenty two of the month of Jelly." The morning announcement wakes everyone up as usual, and they awaken in their own beds.
Though, for some passengers, those beds may seem completely unfamiliar: a strange room full of people they don't recognise. For others the room and people are perfectly normal, just... bigger than they remember them being yesterday.
Or it might be that they feel healed, old scars faded. The changes might be small, sporting their embarrassing teenage hair cut; or drastic, their whole body younger.
Either way, it is clear that something very strange has happened on the train.
(OOC: All the information about this event is Here. All changes will reverse the next night and passengers will wake up normal on day 23.
Update: In early afternoon the dressing carriage cupboards will open and animal onesies will be available in child size.)
Hello roommate he's never talked to 'cause Eight scared him off
It was complicated, but after his initial greeting from Eight, he hadn't wanted to disturb whatever their whole thing was.
This morning he didn't do that though, because he had no idea what was going on. He leaned over the edge of his bunk to look at Curufin.
"What's your number?" He asked, sleepily. "Wait, why're you in my room?"
Hello!
He woke to find Demyx looking at him. He sat up and rubbed his hair and wrapped his arms around his knees. "My number? What number? I don't know why we're both in this room. I went to sleep in my parents' house in Tirion, and now I'm here. By the way, you can call me Curvo, that's my nickname. What's your name?"
no subject
"Maybe you haven't met him yet." Demyx concluded. "It's Demyx." He grinned a little bit. "I'm not sure why we're sharing a room though, I had my own yesterday..."
Also, it was awfully temperate on the train, as opposed to a drafty old castle.
no subject
He grinned back. "Nice to meet you, Demyx! I don't know why we're sharing a room, either. Actually, there are four bunks in here, so I guess we have two more roommates. I wonder where they are? Maybe they got up early?"
He considered. "I don't think we're in the same places we were in yesterday. This is definitely not my house. Where was your room? What kind of building and what kind of country?"
no subject
"It was in the Castle That Never Was." He answered, blinking. Oh yeah, the walls were different.
"It's...there's no country. It's in The World That Never Was. It's not anything I think. Just like I'm not anything." He was confused about that because he felt solid enough.
"It's confusing."
no subject
"You lived in the Castle That Never Was? What an interesting name for a fortress. In the World That Never Was? That's definitely not any place I've been, so we must be from different worlds. What do you mean, you're not anything? You sure look like something to me!"
no subject
"I'm a Nobody. You know, a heartless? Only not a heartless. But I don't have a heart? I'm super confused about it." Demyx admitted with a bit of a flush. "I dunno, but I'm a Nobody, and I'm not supposed to exist, but I do."
Could Curvo understand why he was so confused?
no subject
"What's this about being a heartless? Is a Nobody the same as a heartless? What's this about you're not supposed to exist?"
He certainly could understand why Demyx was confused!
no subject
"To be honest with you..." He lowered his voice to a whisper. "I wasn't really listening." He raised a finger to his lips. "Don't tell the Superior."
If Curvo wanted to know, he might have to ask when Demyx is older.
no subject
"I won't tell anyone. But I don't see any adults on the train calling themselves Superiors, so I think you're safe."
He just might ask him later when they both are adults again.
no subject
"That'd be a good thing." Demyx said. "Er, or maybe not? I don't know? They give me the orders."
So if they weren't around, no orders.
