Make the Clock Reverse (Day 22 Jelly)
Bring back what once was mine.
On the evening of Day 21, before it goes dark, any Voidtreckers who look out of the windows might see the void is a little more chaotic than usual. There's a little bit of turbulence. Nothing too bad, nowhere near how bad it got during the void storm, but noticeable all the same.
It doesn't last long, and the night continues. Those who are not early to bed may see the odd golden flicker out of the corner of their eyes, darting away and vanishing if pursued.
Strange...
Change the fates' design.
"Good Morning passengers. Today is day twenty two of the month of Jelly." The morning announcement wakes everyone up as usual, and they awaken in their own beds.
Though, for some passengers, those beds may seem completely unfamiliar: a strange room full of people they don't recognise. For others the room and people are perfectly normal, just... bigger than they remember them being yesterday.
Or it might be that they feel healed, old scars faded. The changes might be small, sporting their embarrassing teenage hair cut; or drastic, their whole body younger.
Either way, it is clear that something very strange has happened on the train.
(OOC: All the information about this event is Here. All changes will reverse the next night and passengers will wake up normal on day 23.
Update: In early afternoon the dressing carriage cupboards will open and animal onesies will be available in child size.)
With that kind of callout how could he not?
It probably wasn't the fact he kept cackling at random intervals when he came up with an idea, or the fact he wasn't really taking much time to sit down at all, after all, how else was one supposed to spread chaos if they weren't moving?
Or perhaps it was the fact that Yondu might catch sight of him now, a screwdriver in one hand and a wrench in the other, on the way to his next project.
He was only six. Imagine the chaos he could bring if he was older.
This lil butthole
"Hey!" he calls out, authoritatively. He's since, luckily, acquired a toolbox from Piccolo. Which was generated out of thin air. How the fuck do people even get these powers?
But that's an aside. Right now he has to contain Technical Storm Senku Category 5 from inflicting further damage. "You get back here! Don't take stuff apart you can't put back together."
All about the SCIENCE
That is a grown up's voice, trying to get his attention. The 'hey' isn't really enough to do it, but trying to tell him what to do never went well.
He didn't care what Yondu thought, so with that, he chose to ignore him and continue on his way, there was an ICP with his name on it.
no subject
He closes in quick on Senku, standing in front of him, stepping in his way if he tries to pass.
He will be annoying and in the way until the kid takes notice.
no subject
To his credit he did just try and walk around him twice before looking up at him with a frown.
"Move."
no subject
"You wanna be smart or you wanna be a thief?"
Yondu doesn't even give half the slightest shit about this kid being a thief. He's just worried he's going to get himself or more likely some other kid electrocuted within an inch of their life. He's hoping that pride in his intelligence stood out even now.
"Come on. Scoot."
no subject
He used his pinky to pick at his ear, and with a huff turned around to head in the other direction.
"I didn't take anything!" Senku pouted a little bit.
no subject
He shoos him in that direction.
"Take me to the last thing you took apart. We're gonna sit down and we're gonna fix that."
no subject
Senku played along and at the last minute, shifted his weight and tried to run around Yondu to escape.
no subject
He just moves his coat to the side, whistles, and his arrow flies to jam itself into the door handle. It doesn't pierce it, but that arrow's lodged with the strength of at least double someone Yondu's weight.
"Goin' the wrong way all of a sudden, ain'tcha?"
no subject
Senku wrapped both hands around the handle and tugged.
Unsurprisingly, it didn't budge, not even a little bit. He turned and glared at Yondu, he'd probably done this hadn't he.
no subject
"I thought we was gonna go fix somethin'. Here you just had to be unreliable." He tuts.
"See, I can show you some stuff you can take apart as much as you like," He'd seen some robot parts stashed away. If they was owned, he could apologize to the owner later, but they obviously were all busted up. "Problem is, I don't know that you can be trusted to fix nothin'. Now, you need to fix somethin'.
Look, he might be a kid for just a few days, people said that's usually how a Big Thing works on this train? But he still needs to have his roll slowed down before he breaks the whole thing.
no subject
"I don't want to." He decided to respond with. "I want to do something else."
no subject
"See, I can make sounds that ain't worth nothin', too. People don't get what they want most of the time. Even littluns."
no subject
"You can't tell me what to do." He decided to try the door again just in case he let down his guard.
no subject
Again he just waits rather than say something right off, keeping an eye on Senku. Puts his hands on his hips.
Honestly, this isn't too different from having dealt with Peter.
no subject
"What do you care what I'm doing?"
no subject
He has a feeling this guy is gonna feel real weird when this gets reversed. Hell, even Yondu might. But right now he's summoning every bit of the patience a young eye-rolling Peter Quill trained him with.
no subject
That was something Senku definitely grew out of, but since he didn't remember that, he was behaving like a petulent child.
He would probably offer a vague apology when he got back to normal, or just pretend it didn't happen really.
no subject
Yondu's patient for an impatient old cuss. He does realize he'll have to let people in those doors eventually. But he'll hold them as long as he can. Or just let them in and lock it again, or chase Senku down if he makes a break for it.
no subject
"Fine." He said, looking like he was getting antsy. "I'll fix the last thing I took apart."
no subject
He whistles for the arrow to come back and he holsters it when it gets to him. Time to follow Senku to wherever that was.
no subject
There were so many things to explore and he was done looking inside the toaster that was kept back there.
It was on the floor in a variety of pieces. He huffed and sat down next to it.
no subject
He starts picking up some wayward parts and putting down near him.
no subject
He didn't really want to reconstruct the toaster when there were more interesting things to do. It was boring now, he'd seen inside of it.
"This is boring." He complained a little. Could he go now?
