Make the Clock Reverse,
Bring back what once was mine.

On the evening of Day 21, before it goes dark, any Voidtreckers who look out of the windows might see the void is a little more chaotic than usual. There's a little bit of turbulence. Nothing too bad, nowhere near how bad it got during the void storm, but noticeable all the same.

It doesn't last long, and the night continues. Those who are not early to bed may see the odd golden flicker out of the corner of their eyes, darting away and vanishing if pursued.

Strange...

Heal what has been hurt,
Change the fates' design.

"Good Morning passengers. Today is day twenty two of the month of Jelly." The morning announcement wakes everyone up as usual, and they awaken in their own beds.

Though, for some passengers, those beds may seem completely unfamiliar: a strange room full of people they don't recognise. For others the room and people are perfectly normal, just... bigger than they remember them being yesterday.

Or it might be that they feel healed, old scars faded. The changes might be small, sporting their embarrassing teenage hair cut; or drastic, their whole body younger.

Either way, it is clear that something very strange has happened on the train.

(OOC: All the information about this event is Here. All changes will reverse the next night and passengers will wake up normal on day 23.

Update: In early afternoon the dressing carriage cupboards will open and animal onesies will be available in child size.)

"Not if you hit the right spot!" She then gestured to her neck. "Hitting the windpipe, even with the least amount of power? That'll do some damage! They can't breathe for a good couple of seconds, or they just a good urge to upchuck - enough time to get out of there."

"Huh..." Senku blinked, considering that.

"That sounds useful." He agreed, although really, the last thing his dad would want him to do was fight people. Fortunately for Della, he wasn't there, and Senku made a fist to show her.

Della applauded! "Way to go, Senku!" She chirped, happy she was able to teach the genius something. "Let's hope you never have to use it, but be happy you know it. You like learning, don't you?"

He offered her a bit of a shy smile at the praise, although he wasn't sure he was going to go around punching people. He'd have to see how it went.

"Yes. I want to know everything." He told her honestly.

"I bet you know nothing about me." Della gestured to herself, knowing people like her didn't exist in Sneku's world. "But if you ask me, I'll tell you anything you want to know about myself."

That was true, he had no idea.

"How are you talking?" He was coming out from under the table and he poked her feathers. "You're a duck."

[sos_pilot]

"That's true. But ducks can talk in my world!" She then winked. "Doesn't mean we always have something to say." A joke, a bad joke.

Senku looked pretty skeptical and he came closer to her, poking her again as though he was trying to decide something. "Are you a real duck? Are you a robot duck?" Even he had a bit of imagination even if it seemed limited in scope.

"Nope, flesh and blood, just like you. Just with feathers." She'd allow the poking, as long as it wasn't too hard.

It wasn't terribly hard, he wasn't very strong to begin with.

"Huh. That's different. Why do ducks talk where you come from? Is it all ducks?"

[sos_pilot]

"All ducks that have something to say! My uncle, my parents, my twin brother, my kids..."

"That seems kinda weird." Senku observed with a bit of a puzzled frown. "Do you know any talking robot cats?"

[sos_pilot]

... Now that threw her for a loop. "Not particularly, but give Gyro enough time, I'm sure it'll happen..."

"Oh." Senku looked a little bit disappointed. At this age he was a bit obsessed with a show about a time traveling cat robot.

"I guess a talking duck is still pretty cool." He decided.

[sos_pilot]

"And a talking human is pretty cool too." She grinned with a playful wink.

"Don't all humans talk?" Senku asked, because in his experience that was true.

"Well not babies." He clarified. "But I mean, grown humans."

[sos_pilot]

"I wouldn't know. In my world, we don't have any humans at all!"

Senku's eyes widened. "But how do you invent things then?"

It was such a novel, fantastical idea, he couldn't wrap his head around it. It was also a tad rude, but as Della would know, he really never grew out of that part.

[sos_pilot]

Della couldn't help but laugh at that. "We still have geniuses! People who want to make things and improve life!"

[10billionpercent]

"But they're duck geniuses?" He asked, tilting his head a little bit. "Huh!" He learned something new every day.

"What kind of things do duck geniuses make?"

[sos_pilot]

"Giant robots, mostly." Della said with an eyeroll. "Sometimes rocket ships, and chewing gum that can help you breathe... but, mostly robots."

"Really?" His eyes widened. "I like robots!"
