Make the Clock Reverse,
Bring back what once was mine.

On the evening of Day 21, before it goes dark, any Voidtreckers who look out of the windows might see the void is a little more chaotic than usual. There's a little bit of turbulence. Nothing too bad, nowhere near how bad it got during the void storm, but noticeable all the same.

It doesn't last long, and the night continues. Those who are not early to bed may see the odd golden flicker out of the corner of their eyes, darting away and vanishing if pursued.

Strange...

Heal what has been hurt,
Change the fates' design.

"Good Morning passengers. Today is day twenty two of the month of Jelly." The morning announcement wakes everyone up as usual, and they awaken in their own beds.

Though, for some passengers, those beds may seem completely unfamiliar: a strange room full of people they don't recognise. For others the room and people are perfectly normal, just... bigger than they remember them being yesterday.

Or it might be that they feel healed, old scars faded. The changes might be small, sporting their embarrassing teenage hair cut; or drastic, their whole body younger.

Either way, it is clear that something very strange has happened on the train.

(OOC: All the information about this event is Here. All changes will reverse the next night and passengers will wake up normal on day 23.

Update: In early afternoon the dressing carriage cupboards will open and animal onesies will be available in child size.)

"Oh wow...they really are opposite, huh? It must've taken a lot of relearning."

"It took time we didn't have, being chased and all. Including by controlled versions of our friends." Raven sighs a bit. "But we...understood each other a bit better, after that."

"Well, at least something good came out of it."

And the story had helped take her mind off of things, Kitty realized. She didn't feel as frazzled as before.

"Starfire sometimes joins me in meditation now. That's one of the big reasons I do so, so often. I have to remain calm and in control, or my powers go haywire."

Kitty nodded. "I can get that. I have a friend back home who's psychic, and she meditates sometimes to keep them in check too."

And while those powers aren't necessarily emotion-based, they can get out of hand if Jean wasn't careful.

"What kind of psychic?" Raven asked. Considering she was psychic herself by many definitions...

"She's a telepath, and telekinetic." There was a lot to Jean's powers, but those were the basics of it.

"I can see why meditation would help her." Raven was somewhat telekinetic herself, with only a hint of telepathy if she astral traveled.

Kitty nodded. "Yeah...especially after she had some, uh...trouble with her power one time."

She probably shouldn't have really mentioned it, talking about such a time. But remembering Jean having trouble with her powers and getting control back over them was actually a comforting thought.

"I'm guessing she regained control after a while?" Raven offered, still trying to be reassuring. "I have to stay calm, and in control of my emotions, or my powers react. But I've lost control unexpectedly before, under new circumstances I'd rather not get into. Sometimes it can happen, and all we can do is our best to regain it."

Kitty nodded. "Yeah, she managed to get it under control. She's gotten a lot stronger since then too."

Looking up at Raven, she sighed. "Yeah...I'm trying, but it feels...different right now, somehow."

"Possibly the effect of whatever the void did, or is doing, to the rest of the passengers too." Raven offered as an idea.

"Hmm...that makes sense." It certainly was better than what she feared was actually happening. "Hopefully things get back to normal soon."

[azrthmtrnznthos]

"I'm sure with some practice, you'll regain your control. Even while this strangeness is going on."

[goingthroughaphase]

She nodded a little. "Y-Yeah...it's definitely taking more concentration."

[azrthmtrnznthos]

"Then remember to just take deep breaths. You can do this, Kitty."

[goingthroughaphase]

"Y-Yeah..." she replied, though not as confidently as Raven. Still, she took the other girl's advice and focused on just breathing.

After another moment, she glanced at Raven with a small smile.

"...Thanks."

"No problem. You've gained control before, Kitty. You'll do it again."
