[ Thanatos turns around, a little surprised. ]

I didn't realize the time of day mattered for watering.

[ He hadn't been paying attention to that. Should he have? Was that why the took so long to sprout? He returns his attention to the sprouts as if hoping they would give him an answer or confirmation. (They do not.) ]

They're poppies.
