Hera might not recognize her, but Leia certainly recognized Hera. Though given how much younger Hera looked than the last time she'd seen her, there was likely a good bit of a gap between the times they were each last in their own galaxy.

"This isn't my first time being suddenly transported across time and space," Leia said. "Though I've got to say, there's a much larger welcoming committee this time around. Either way, though, it's good to see a somewhat familiar face, General Syndulla."
