Brooding and Fighting
Who: Tony and OTA
What: Varies
When: Basoon 16- late (might add another time/ date too)/ Basoon 17-18 Training in Gym and also on those days, tearing up a row of chairs in the standard car.
Where: Varies
CW: Language, Talk about death/ anxiety, depression; violence-ish?
Notes: For the first part- His first response is going to be to tell you to go away. However, if your character will stick it out beyond that, feel free to tag in.
[Brooding]
It was well after dinner when the majority of the passengers wouldn't be in the dining carriage with none of the lights on. Those who snacked tended to stay in the kitchen. There are a few dishes left to do, but they were far down on Tony's list of worries.
He'd had several drinks from the bottle of scotch he'd purchased and that had led to a very dark mood. His back was to the doorway, his helmet was on the table next to him with the open bottle, and a projected image was playing in front of him. There were three voices in the video- his, a woman's, and a little girl's. A little girl who looked a lot like a younger version of Buttercup was playing around a park and a lovely blonde woman following along after her. The woman keeps looking at the camera and joking about Tony needing to stop filming everything, but of course he makes up some stupid reason about why this was vital for the sake of all of humanity. There's another one with the same duo are playing in the woods with a tiny set of Iron Man masks and gloves.
[Training]
He was a little hungover, but in a way the bad mood just made him want to fight even more. He'd called over the ICP for anyone who would like to start training to learn hand to hand combat.
He found some material to make small cushion gloves like those a boxer might have (only obviously not as good as those). He's wearing his cargo pants and a black tank top. He calls Peter up to the front of the class and passes over another set of the makeshift boxing gloves.
[Added! Getting spare parts- Late afternoon 17 ]
Tony found the belt Manabu had set aside for a holster for his gun and decided to put his tools on it. He was already sweaty from the training, so he didn't bother cleaning up when he was going to be working more. So in his black undershirt, a sledgehammer over on shoulder, and a metallic glove from his suit he whistled his way to the standard carriage.
There was no need for this many chairs in here. They would never need this many. So, he went over to the front row and lifted the hammer. With a purely devilish grin, he grunted from the exertion and TWA-BANG. The headrest of the chair went flying. He kept working, going back and forth between the sledgehammer, a very concentrated beam from his glove for cutting, and a screwdriver until he had one short row of chairs dismantled.

Well you guys asked for it
That was definitely Tony and Ignis, and they were definitely in the middle of something...private, judging by the making out and Tony's hand on Ignis' ass. Oh, and also, Ignis was shirtless. Reigen was...well, surprised was the mildest way to put it.
"...huh?"
Really, it'd have been nice if Reign could astral project out of this situation, but the sound of his voice had already made his presence known. Now they both would know Reigen was there. Maybe God could have mercy and he'd fall off the train right now.
We did!
Before he could decide, he heard a noise behind them from the doorway into the luggage carriage. He froze and briefly considered their position. There was no denying this, of course. There wasn't a way to claim anything else was happening than the obvious. They'd been caught red handed. Drawing back from Ignis, he turned and looked to see who was interrupting them and he shot Reigen a glare. Still, he hadn't removed his hand from Ignis' backside.
"There isn't a chance you'd keep this to yourself, is there?" His voice was a bit breathless and his skin flushed with arousal. The most obvious thing lacking here was any visible shame on Tony's part- assuming you didn't count the request Reigen was discreet about what he'd just caught them doing.
no subject
"Ah, Reigen, this is an unexpected surprise." There was more of an emphasis on the surprise part as he realized of course that they'd been caught. Tony had requested that the other keep this quiet, but he wasn't sure if that was going to be a possibility. Damage control raced through his mind. The advisor knew they were on borrowed time here keeping this a secret.
If Ignis lost his position on the council due to this, he would bow out as gracefully as he accepted the position. He'd known it was a possibility once he and Tony got involved or whatever anyone would call it. By the Six, the advisor himself didn't even have a name for it
no subject
"Yeah, no shit!" Surprise was a bit of an understatement in Reigen's opinion. He ran a hand through his hair, incredibly embarrassed that this was happening and really just wanting to leave. "Ok so, do I forget about the entire relationship or just the part where you guys are about to...seriously, right in front of the suitcases?!"
For whatever reason, Reigen wondered if it would easy for these two to kill him. Dammit, he would have made some updates to his will if he knew this was going to happen.
no subject
"Well I was thinking more against one. There are a couple here that are the right height for it." So not the point. "And there isn't a relationship, we're just.. uh.. friends with a dash extra."
Why were they both making this such a big deal? And why was this happening right now? He had much better things to do with his time but this interruption was ruining it. He might start thinking it's a big deal too as soon as more blood flowed back up north.
no subject
"You can forget about the entire thing and as has been stated, there's nothing there." he replied coolly. His brain clicked back on and the professional crisp demeanour the advisor always wore as armour was completely back in place.
Moving away from Tony, Ignis lightly and very briefly tapped Reigen on the shoulder as he passed by the blonde man. "I thank you for coming to check on us." He didn't even look back at either of the men as he made his way back to his room.
no subject
Then Ignis had turned around at Tony's stating they weren't in a relationship, and that response was...well, 'yikes' came to mind. Reigen could guess that Tony had screwed up.
"...you're welcome?" Reigen squeaked out as Ignis left. Now it was just Tony and him, which might actually be worse than dealing with both of them. Clearing his throat awkwardly, Reigen started to step away. "Well, I think I hear my laundry calling..."
no subject
And Reigen started talking and brought his attention back to the intruder. "You still haven't said if you were keeping this to yourself. Do I have to actually threaten you to get your cooperation? I'd rather not do that, but I will. He doesn't deserve that." Tony did. Ignis didn't.
no subject
Still, something about Ignis' reaction bothered him.
"Are you guys really just friends with benefits?" Reigen asked despite himself.
no subject
A lot of the fight went out of him and he looked down at the floor. Shaking his head and slowly he glanced back up at Reigen. "No, but.. I thought that's what he wanted us to say if we got caught." He wanted to race after the man, beg his forgiveness but with how emotionally charge this situation was it might be wiser to give both of them- or all three- a chance to cool down. Either way, Tony looked fairly miserable about the situation he'd just found himself in.
no subject
That did not mean he wanted to be Tony’s relationship counselor, however. He just wanted to leave now. “Look, uh...good luck working it out. I’m just gonna go forget this happened. Still got laundry to do.” Reigen started to leave, trying to remember what he was heading over to do in the first place before running into those two. Thanks, guys.
no subject
If he had something, he would've thrown it. "Good. Get the hell out of my sight!"
no subject
"Oh, sure! Here's a suggestion: screw you! And learn how to lock a door, asshole!" With that last jab, Reigen slammed the car door shut and stormed off. He didn't care if anyone heard him, Tony would have to try and explain it on his own.
As he continued to walk away, regret started to set in, along with the thought that Tony probably hated him now. Great, another relationship Reigen had ruined pretty much just by being himself. He'd liked hanging out with Tony, as difficult as he was, so it hurt.
Jeez, he needed a drink or something.
Later that night
Should have. Except, Tony.
Ignis was more than sure this went down worse than he imagined it, but hoped he was wrong. So when he found the other man, he tapped at the door.
"May I come in?"
Re: Later that night
"Oh, Ignis...uh, sure? Go for it." He didn't feel like he could turn down Ignis in particular given that he'd been the one who lead to his relationship getting messed up. Right, that did happen, didn't it? "Are you doing ok?"
no subject
"I'm doing fine, thank you for asking." Ignis was here to apologize on Tony's behalf and as he and the older man had discussed earlier, Reigen was really very kind. And he would do everything he could to keep the peace here.
"I've come to find out how you are actually."
no subject
"Ok, good, I was worried after that whole thing happened...eh? Me? I'm fine. Why wouldn't I be?" Reigen waved off Ignis' question, electing to focus on trying to open the alcohol instead of his own condition. "Uh, it doesn't bother you if I drink, does it? I can probably get some glasses to split it or something..."
Maybe he ought to wait, considering, but Reigen at least wanted to appear fine and sociable right now. There wasn't a good reason for him to be upset, anyway, especially compared to Ignis.
no subject
Putting his back against the wall, the advisor waited until Reigen settled with the bottle. "I've come here to apologize actually.." His voice trailed off as he looked at a wall. "Tony told me a little of what happened."
He was really here to apologize on the older man's behalf. "I also wanted to personally say thank you for your discretion."
no subject
"Ha, g-good stuff! Oh, and you're welcome, I guess? Dunno what I did to be thanked!"
no subject
Should he go and leave the other man alone? He was safely ensconced into his cabin. But if Reigen somehow became a menace, Ignis would feel as if he were at fault. "You were kind enough not to say anything is why you're being thanked." Ignis spoke softly now in case somehow someone outside of the cabin happened to hear him.
no subject
"But yeah, don't even worry about it. You're a good guy, Ignis-kun, I don't want you to half to deal with...with the stuff. With the thing where people make up bullshit about you? What's it called?" There was no way his brain had shut down this quickly, had it? "Rumors! Right, that, especially when people dig up stuff just to humiliate you, it sucks!"
no subject
However, now he was getting suspicious, so he cautiously sat across from Reigen. "Whatever did he tell you?" Really, walking away should've solved the entire thing. But Tony had said he was trying to protect his reputation and knowing the older man he got angry and..it probably went south in a hand basket really fast.
Ignis felt bad and he decided that at least for the time being he would stay here with Reigen and try to help..if he could. "I didn't mean for things to get as out of hand as they did." Tony should've been the one here saying this, but he promised that he would do this task. After all, when he'd taken his position on the council, he figured he'd have to do this eventually. The advisor had no way of knowing that his first mission of smoothing over ruffled feathers would involve him personally however.
no subject
"He just told me to keep quiet? Was gonna anyway, 'course. There was a bit of yelling...ugh, I don't wanna get you involved in shit. It's'not your fault, really." His stare went back to the bottle, preferring to stare at the sloshing liquid rather than look Ignis in the eye right now. "I'm kinda used to this kind of thing happening? 'm fine." Not that Ignis would even know what Reigen meant by 'this kind of thing'. Ruining his relationships, he guessed.
He was just gonna chalk up how he suddenly felt sweatier than usual and how dry his mouth felt despite having just drank to the side-effects of alcohol.
no subject
He had a feeling there was more to this since the other man wasn't looking at him but he'd figure that out at another time. He had a feeling this went down worse than he was hearing and he half thought to sit the two down and have them talk this out like gentlemen. Reigen was in no mood to hear that suggestion right now and the advisor decided that he would broach it at a later date. Tony valued this man's friendship and Ignis didn't want to see anything happen to that.
Green eyes looked at the blonde, not sure what else to say or do as far as the reason he was here. So he tried a different approach.
"Can I get you anything else?"
no subject
He tried to take another sip of alcohol, but it was starting to leave a nasty aftertaste in his mouth. "That's, uh...no, I'm fine...is there a reason you're being so nice to me, besides feeling guilty?"
