I think I know what I'm living for now
Who: Mono and anyone about!
Where: ANY! Children care not for your privacy when they travel via ICP
When: Early weeks of Llama up to the Event
What: A monthly Mono catchall; indulge him with an "interview", help him understand Gravity, or make your own top levels for 4B roommate banter
Warnings: Nope!
[The mission may not have gone that well, it gave Mono a lot to think about. One thing it did solidify however was how many people on this train were willing to look out for him. Since he arrived Mono had spent his days convincing himself mostly of what was safe and charting places to hide. It never occurred to him... to really get to know the other passengers. Time for that to change.]
A.) [It's your time to shine!]
[Mono may not know people, but he does know media and the way to get people to use words on the telly was always with one of these things! The moment he saw the prop microphone stashed in the music car, the boy knew he needed it. It's unplugged now, the disconnected chord dangling behind him as he traipses through the carriages.
Whoever you are, whatever you're doing, expect a determined little tug on your pant leg or similar noise to draw your attention before the disconnected prop mic is held up as high as Mono can reach. He wears a pasted on, scribbled-in paper tie and a scrap that is probably supposed to be a nametag that just says: Иews]
"Psst. Hey!"
[He shakes the prop with emphasis, staring expectantly. Whether it's who you are, what you are currently doing, or where you're from Mono wants to hear about it!
Either way, he doesn't seem to be leaving until he gets that interview! Satisfy a child's curiosity?]
B.) [It's raining kids | General 4B roommate mingle]
[It's not always the smoothest ride on the voidtrecker. Though Mono had been grateful to have a top bunk when he first arrived for the added security, there were certain pitfalls to the bunk assignment. Like now.]
"Wh-- whoa-ah!?!" [When the train sometimes lurched forward on the tracks and Mono's light weight sent the kid hurtling down, first thing in the morning. It's definitely not the first time this has happened. How accustomed to catching him are you at this point?
If it's not on accident, sometimes it's just on purpose; it is easiest to hop down on a willing passenger while they open the door for you rather than trying to leave to get breakfast on your own, after all. Though Sam's absence was felt, every new addition to the sleeper made 4B feel a little more like home. A feather, a bag made from colorful origami paper, a few assorted stones and a mini white handkerchief cloak lay arranged in full display on Mono's spacious room of a bed.
Have you added anything to their little space? What way have you claimed your own area to make the room feel more like home?]
C.) [Manadrive Mishaps]
[Lightning had granted him a sort of device before last mission, his own little piece of 'magic'-- or was this what Entrapta called 'science?'-- as it were. It had been such an overwhelming world, however, the pint-sized passenger barely had time to practice with the intimidating and confusing object. Now that it's finally time for some downtime, Mono feels eager enough to have another go.
Connecting a sensor to his hand and the rest of the contraption to his back Mono studies the instructions.]
"Clap on.." [It takes a few tries of quietly hitting his hands together. It doesn't help when everything about one's home environment encouraged being as quiet as possible, nor is it likely calibrated for one his size.]
"Clap on?" [Nothing.] "Claaaap. Onnn--" [At first only his bag starts floating and then--]
"Clap off! Clap off!" [It's working! A little too well. Mono can't quite seem to trigger it into stop working! He zooms upward, the drive intending to flip his default center of gravity. A little help? Or maybe you're just wondering why a piece of nori fell on your head and didn't expect the answer to be a bag-headed child looking down at you from the cieling. This is going to take a lot of tries.]
