"No no," Tidus hurries to say; not wanting his own worry to spread needlessly to Inigo, who's naturally better at it than him. "I just wanna see Gibbs is okay. You know- that he doesn't think anything's wrong with me. That he felt anything."

Not that Tidus is worrying about Gibbs, oh no. But as he says it, he does believe in that case better than himself doing anything to the high higgledy. His existence doesn't rely on his being, strong by himself - stronger than Tidus in that case (and many others). He throws a temporary smile at Inigo, nodding with it, before heading for the way out, but not in a rush that will leave Inigo behind.

"It's late anyway. Good time to be heading for bed."
