What: Its been a rough month. And Guilmon knows just how to cheer everyone up. Time to play tag! Open to anyone, and feel free to jump around threads.

Takato and Guilmon had been quietly plotting together. A lot of their friends had been sad lately, and they were determined to help cheer everyone up.

And Guilmon didn't know of anything better for cheering people up than playing a game. Except maybe bread.

They start playing between themselves, taking turn tagging each other. But when the first person enters the gym, Takato darts toward them.

"Do you want to play?"

Tag isn't something Hera exactly indulges in often. But she'll do a lot of things if she thinks they'll improve a kid's day. And she did become very fond of Takato after they broke out of the illusion. "Sure."

No harm in blowing off some steam.

Takato laughs and tags her shoulder. "Then its your turn to be It!"

She probably should have seen that coming, but it did start very quickly. "Oh, better be quick then!"

She's not going to go all out, but she'll make sure it's a good game.

"Try and catch me then!"

Takato grins at her and starts running towards Guilmon.

She laughs and takes off after him at a measured pace. "I can't remember the last time I did this."

It's definitely been years.

Takato dodges to the side around Guilmon, as the digimon charges off to the other side of the room.

"Guilmon and I play this all the time!"

There is a blink. There is a second blink. Kiyoiri, long-since swapped over to her spider-provided fashion set and out of uniform, stares.

"Play?" Technically she's asking 'play what', but hey.

"I'm playing Tag with Guilmon. But its a lot more fun with more people. So do you want to play with us?"

"Tag...."

Takechirou caws on her shoulder. "...I could, but there would still only be three..." ...Well.

"...Unless Takechirou changes shape, but then he'll be stuck for a while..."

"Takechirou can evolve too?"

[jan_ken_hacking]

"Ah....Evolve?" Is that the right word? Hm.

"...I don't know if that's really it, but Takechirou can copy any 'Heroic Spirit' almost perfectly, or even perfectly. I don't know enough about what you mean by 'evolve' to say it's the same though..."

Link grinned at the boy. "Sure. What are we playing?"

Being raised by eternal children means that the Hero of Time never really feels too old to play with kids.

"Have you ever played tag? Its one of Guilmon's favorites."

[sevenyearsasleep]

"Sure have. Who's it?"

[dreamtamer]

"Guilmon is!" Takato turns and calls over to his friend. "Guilmon! We have another person to play!"

Guilmon cheers and waves at Link.

To no ones surprise one of Allen's first stops was of course to the gym. Though this time his intent was not to stay for too long, just some streached and then off to another carriage.

But instead he saw a familiar sight.

"What are you playing?"

"We're playing tag!" Takato explains cheerfully. "Do you want to play with us? Its a lot more fun with more people."

"I've never actually played tag before, so I might need the rules explained to me." Was he being honest, yes he had never played before because what is playing games like this?

[dreamtamer]

This doesn't strike Takato as strange. He'd spent a lot of time introducing digimon to the human world, so he was used to explaining things like games.

"Its really easy. One person is it, and they have to try and chase everyone else who is playing. The first person they touch becomes the next it, and then they have to chase."

"Why is it the word it?" He understood literally everything else, but this one thing he just happens to be curious about.

"I get the rules, they seem extremely simple that even I understood, but the person being it as a name just seems odd."

WangJi happened to be entering the gym, intending to do some meditation. To keep him company, he had brought his rabbits... since having them around would make him happy and being together would make them happy. Little Radish was in his arms while Little Carrot walked along side.

As they entered the gym, he looked curiously as Takato came running over. Little Carrot bounced slightly, not seemingly startled, maybe because he saw his friend Guilmon.

"How do you play?"

Takato and Guilmon wave as they run over, happy to see a friend again.

"Its an easy game to learn! One person chases everyone else. And when they touch someone, then that person gets to chase everyone."

Little Carrot wiggled his nose happily seeing Guilmon again. He'd definitely be happy to play tag! He'd done it with Wormmon and even been overly dramatic bouncing around to give the slower friend time to "run".

From above, Little Radish was peeking down at them.

WangJi thought about that for a moment. "That sounds like it would be an amusing game."

Guilmon sniffs happily at Little Carrot. He remembered playing with the rabbits before.

"Great! This is always more fun with more players!"

As Little Carrot started to get excited seeing his digimon friend again, WangJi bent to put Little Radish down as well. The white rabbit stretched out before sitting down next to his brother.

"I suppose so. Seems as though it would be a little hard to play by yourself."

He's making a joke, but it is also very deadpan.
