Vacation's Over - Time for Train!
Who: Usagi Tsukino (AU) and YOU!
Where: Training Gym, Lab, Others
When: Merriment 25-30
What: Vacation's over now. Usagi's back to various actions
Warnings: None ATM
Usagi let out a sigh once she got back on the train. The vacation felt nice - even though she had pretty much just arrived on the train, she felt like she needed the vacation after what they went through. Honestly, not needing to hop out and save everyone felt nice.
That was wrong to think, yet...
She shook her head once her train-mandated uniform was back on her. It was time for other little things.
Training Gym
With Mami gone, Usagi didn't want to leave Kyoko hanging with the problems she left behind. Thus, she decided to try and help her out somewhere and if that mean creating new spells, then so be it! She had so many magic draws, she figured that one of them had to work right.
There was the strange time magic she had. She hadn't focused on that in favor of the ice, fire and lightning magic. She figured she could do something with it.
From what Usagi understood, healers were in demand. With time magic, Usagi figured she could use time to reverse injuries in some way. Thus, she decided to try it out, finding a broken training dummy to test it on. Focusing the magic into her hands, she tried to push that time magic to rewind the damage done. She gasped, however, as the magic worked backwards on her.
"Woah, woah, wait a second!" Usagi yelped, watching as her outfit started to disassemble before she started trying to push it back. This probably wasn't going to work, especially if it decided to disassemble her clothes altogether.
Laboratory
Usagi sighed as she hid back in the lab. Her attempt to using her magic was such a failure and it bummed her out, thus she went back to her usual idea of messing with her brooch to improve her magic. Patting down her little desk, she blinked as she realized that a tool was too far away. Grunting, she tried to reach for it...
...only for the tool to roll to her hand.
"Huh?" she uttered, surprised, looking at the tool in her hand. "Did I... did I do that?"
Wildcard
Of course, Usagi was always out and about. She wanted to go around and do anything else. She could be found in the library, reading over different books. Or perhaps the Kitchen, digging into one of the candy cones she bought. Or maybe she's wandering around. Sky's the limit here!

Laboratory
I... don't know.. I'm guessing? I haven't done anything myself so it had to be you, right?
Re: Laboratory
[Usagi sat the tool down again and tried reaching for it again. This time, it wouldn’t budge.]
I might be doing something wrong.
[She shook her head and smiled at the other girl.]
It’s okay, I’m not mad at you…
no subject
[Looking for clarity as her eyes ended up resting on the tool herself.]
Do you think you ended up with some kind of weird power from the time spent on that last world?
[Then she waved off the next comment easily]
Oh! I didn't think you were. [Though now she was wondering if she had given the other a cause to be.] I guess I should have knocked before I entered the car?
no subject
[She sighed a bit.]
If I did, then it must have just shown up.
But, I can worry about it later - I got a guest now! What can I help you with?
no subject
[Telekinesis would have been infinitely useful.. if this girl was able to hone her skills.]
Kinda delayed then... but maybe?
A guest? Oh! You mean me. [Motioning to herself] I didn't really come here for anything specific, I was just looking around. I didn't mean to interrupt your work. [Looking up to meet the other's eyes something else caught Silvia's attention] What a cute looking brooch!
no subject
[Usagi was chuckling at the assumption of being interrupted.]
Oh, no, you didn’t interrupt me…
[Oh! Someone liked her brooch!]
This? I’m glad you like it. I… shouldn’t be saying this so much, but I’m a magical girl. This is what I use to transform
no subject
[She quietly wondered whether she had retained anything from that excursions herself]
As long as you're sure- you were about to work on something right?
[What was said next did stun Silvia briefly]
That's just the sort of thing they would use in a Mahou Shoujo series! [Then excitement just sort of bubbled out of her. She'd always been a fan of the genre and thanks to the nature of cross dimensional travel she knew it was possible to run into actual magical girls.] .. and you have such a suitable look for it too! I mean.. though I'm sure there's more to being a magical girl than being cute, and looking gorgeous in your costume.. but.. it kinda goes hand in hand with the whole thing.
You're really a magical girl?!
no subject
[Hearing what Silvia said, Usagi smiled and nodded.]
Watch. FULL CRYSTAL MOON, MAKE UP!
[And Silvia would be given a show of Usagi transforming, the Voidtrekker uniform disappearing in favor of ribbons wrapping around her body, taking the form of her Sailor uniform before the long jacket appeared on her, covering her.]
Defying fate, I am New Sailor Moon!
no subject
You mean, you're going to transform- right now?!
[Didn't most magical girls worry about maintaining their secret identity?! Shooting a look to the door to make sure it was shut, she quickly turned her attention to the sight unfolding before her. It was such a magnificent transformation that her breath caught in her throat.]
You weren't kidding. [Uttering the first words she could, which sounded idiotic to her. Still she looked on in awe.]
... New Sailor Moon? Was... there a previous Sailor Moon?
no subject
[She grinned sheepishly at that.]
I’m not the best at names.
[She looked away bashfully.]
I’m really terrible at all this. I never had any other magical girls with me… o-or even friends before I came here and… I need to say this to others. I feel more free doing so.
no subject
[Giving a sage nod. That happened in a lot of her fav stories too.]
Well- with a name like Sailor Moon, it fits right? A New Moon- it's like one of phases in the moon's cycle. It's not as bad as you think.
[Gently trying to reassure the other girl]
Really? I would have thought you had a whole team or something. Maybe you were drawn away before you could meet the others. I.... think it's normal to be apprehensive at first. It's all apart of a character arc. If you started at the height of your confidence and powers there would be no way for you to grow over time. [This isn't a story Silvia..] .. But hey! You gained a new set of powers all on your own, you must have really given it your all, so you don't need to feel self conscious about it.
no subject
Ha, thank you. It means a lot to hear that. I was told there were others, but they never awoken. Well, except for one.
Honestly, we both agreed it was better to let them live normal lives. Maybe… that was a mistake.
[She shook her head and drew Silvia into a hug, pressing her against her frame.]
no subject
No problem, I mean we all have our things we're working through. [She listened attentively to what was said]
You were just being conscientious, so your hearts were in the right place.
[What happens next surprised her as she was drawn into an embrace. It was a little awkward since she didn't even know the girl's real name yet, unless Sailor Moon was her true form that is, but she didn't resist it. I mean it was kind of nice, she didn't get hugs often here. After a delay, she returned the gesture, hoping that was what was expected.]
It would be pretty lonely, being the only one... the other magical girl isn't here with you, is she?
no subject
[She giggled as she reached up to remove the tiara from her head. Like she was unmasking kinda.]
I’m Usagi… Usagi Tsukino.
no subject
It's right, I guess you do.
[Oh how nice it would be to have such a transformation herself. Look how pretty that tiara is]
It's a pleasure to meet you Usagi, I'm Silvia Leafe. [Although she had discovered a sort of power she could wield herself, it was something that still baffled her so she didn't share immediately] Uh- for a short introduction, I'm pretty average myself. I enjoy reading either books and manga respectively, I also like to bake, and have an interest in archeology and games. I've got a little sister I miss terribly, and well.. my mom and dad too of course. [Was she saying too much here?]
no subject
Oh, wow, you like reading, too? I’ve gotten into reading more things other than manga since I became a magical girl, but I won’t say no to them. Same with games! And I do have a mom, dad and little brother waiting for me at home…
no subject
Mm, I sure do! [It would be nice having a friend that she could share some of her interests with. As much as she loved her BFF, Glynis was more into gossip and fashion than half the nerdy things Silvia liked] Maybe we could share some of our favorite titles sometime, though who knows if they're in the library.
So you have plenty of people you care about too, and I bet you'd do anything to protect them.
no subject
[And she pondered something.]
You feel the same, don’t you?
Gym
[A privacy curtain appears out of red light, cutting Usagi off from the rest of the room.]
Y-you okay in there?
Re: Gym
[She sighs as she lets the curtain appear. Thankfully, she has another set of clothes, transforming into Sailor Moon]
S-Sorry! I didn’t mean to for you to see me like that!
no subject
no subject
[She pulled back the curtain, blushing and smiling sweetly at Kyoko.]
At least I know I have someone I can trust when things fall apart… and I trust you with how I look
no subject
I'll try not to abuse that trust.
[It's a good thing Usagi trusts Kyoko with how she looks, because the sight of her in an unraveling costume is probably permanently burned into Kyoko's mind now.]
no subject
If it’s the first one, sorry. If it’s the second one, sorry (maybe not sorry?)]
I was testing out a way to use time magic to heal. I hadn’t used the magic much before and it backfired.
no subject
[Kyoko calms down at the shop talk, leaning over to look at the dummy.]
Huh. I'm no expert in Time Magic, that's Akemi's thing, but I might be able to help. Where did it start to go wrong?
no subject
…and for some reason, when I tried to revert, it decided to work backwards, like I was holding it backwards.
no subject
no subject
[And then it dawned on her]
That’s why my costume fell apart - I didn’t know about the dummy, but I knew of the outfit!
Ha! I… I could probably use this to stop myself from falling apart!
no subject
[That pun was absolutely on purpose.]
no subject
Keep that up and I might not let you see me like that again!
no subject
[One might struggle to tell the difference between Kyoko's face and her hair right now, seeing as they're both the same shade of red. She definitely seems kind of out of it...]
...'kay.
[...which is why she fails to stop that from slipping out.]
no subject
[Usagi blinks in confusion. Had she said something wrong? Then again, she thinks back and gasps.]
Ah! I…!
no subject
[Feel free to take as much time as you need to come up with something, Usagi. Kyoko's brain is currently too fried to tell.]
no subject
[Oh, gosh, what does she say? What does she do? Does she apologize? No, that would be wrong? Does she run? No…
She instead pulls Kyoko into a hug.]
no subject
Oh my. It seems your jest was too much for Kyoko-sama to handle, Usagi-hime. Combine that with a weakness to physical affection, and it would appear that you've discovered a surefire combo for an instant victory.
no subject
[She shook her head and looked at the figure.]
You’re not one of Kyoko’s clones, are you? Who are you?
no subject
no subject
[Well, that was embarrassing! Scooping Kyoko up into her arms, Usagi bowed to Ophelia.]
My apologies! I didn’t recognize you and I was still surprised by Kyoko’s fainting. I will not make that mistake again.
But, I didn’t expect Kyoko to react the way she did. I really was joking… somewhat. Kyoko’s… special.
no subject
[Ophelia smiles as she helps Usagi carry Kyoko to somewhere more comfortable.]
Of course, not just anyone would be able to outright incapacitate her in such a way. She always has had a weakness for the heroic types... What that means for you, I shall leave to your own interpretation.
[Ophelia grins wickedly as she fades away, Kyoko starting to stir as she does.]
no subject
[And as Ophelia fades away, Usagi looks down as Kyoko comes to.]
Welcome back. Enjoy your nap?
no subject
[Kyoko rolls over to hide her face.]
You can let me die now.
no subject
I don’t think of you badly because of it.
It’s just how you feel.
no subject
no subject
Hee, come on, you wanted to faint in my arms. Believe me, I dream of being held in a hero’s arms, too…
no subject
no subject
It’s okay, I understand! I’m teasing you, silly! Gosh, so uptight!
I don’t do romance myself, a “miracle romance” wrecked a lot of things.
I DO, however, do love and affection without pushing romance. Or at least I would like to think I do.
lab!
He had merely been passing by when he witnessed the tool rolling, his attention going immediately to what was going on, curious about it all.
