[CLOSED] Diagad discussions
Who: Willow & Hajime
Where: Library
When: After the spooky mission
What: Diagad and illusion discussion
Warnings: Will update as necessary
[Knowing she can't get away from or avoid the whole Diagad situation forever on the train, Willow's finally resigned to go and find Hajime, the man who'd been her "brother" there.
It's not like she could go find Casper or V and ask them about it, they'd departed already. Went missing during everything in fact. So she's left with Hajime to confront. And she might as well get that out of the way now before any more delays happen.
And confront him she does when she finds him.]
H-Hajime? I'd like to talk to you about something.

or possibly spending a bit of time in the luggage compartmentand generally trying to avoid a great many things. He's finally moved into another part of the train where he's got a few books on psychology and emotions, and...oh.Oh. He does not know how to deal with this. He should have said something to her long before, probably, but how the hell do you handle something like that? Fighting, he can handle. Familial relationships? Absolutely terrifying.]
Ah...Willow.
[He has no idea what else to do and very awkwardly motions for her to take a seat with one hand while trying to shove his stack of books out of the way in an equally awkward fashion.]

Finding a new family is one thing but Tharsi help her, being assigned one was a whole other story. Well. She's here now, better spit it out.]
So. Um. Diagad. We need to talk about what happened there. About how we were, erm, family.
no subject
We...we probably should, yeah.
[There's a long pause.]
I am not well-versed in such things.

[After a long moment of silence, to collect herself and find the right words, there's a sigh of not quite the words she wants.]
I have experience with having an older brother back home, so I do believe I have the upper hand here. Although, family is... Ah-- it's difficult at times. To say the least.
[She loves Sage but also wants to shoot him out of the sky with a few arrows at times, being an obnoxious brother on occasion.]
But. Back on Diagad, I would be lying if I said I didn't enjoy the idea of a brother to tease again. Though I understand that may not be the case with you, am I correct?
no subject
Family is something that confuses me. I'm...
[There's a sigh.]
Anything that isn't constantly fighting is somewhat new for me.
[There's a pause.]
Not verbal fighting. The idea of doing that is new, too.

Did you not have a family who were good people?
[That flies from her mouth before she even thinks, covering it immediately, morbid curiosity having gotten the better of her.]
AH-- FORGIVE ME! I didn't mean to pry!
no subject
[He's going to have to go out and admit it, isn't he?]
But I am not human. I'm an Undead. Not the reanimated corpse kind you find on some worlds--where I'm from, an Undead is an undying monster meant only to fight others of its kind.
[If he's a little hesitant to explain, well, he's afraid he'll scare her off.]
no subject
So there's that, at least.]
Oh, I see. So being this... Undead as you call it? Is that what makes it difficult?
[Fortunately, it'll take more than that to scare her off, and her still-curious tone confirms that she's going nowhere for the moment.]
But having found a family, that is good!
no subject
[There's a nod.]
Families are good to have. I'm sure you must miss yours.
