Who: Elidibus and Various
Where: Various Train Locales
When: Between Orchestra 29-31
What: Elidibus approaches various people who've connections to passenger additions to the Rock Garden. Maybe others happen to stop him along the way.

Rock Garden or Elsewhere - Najaran [Closed to Najaran]
Despite his appearance being human, the being inhabiting that vessel is far more. Whether they sense this or not, he is patient enough to wait until they were willing to approach when presented with a calm and unagressive front. Intelligent enough to communicate to, though charades are not the same as sign language, so interpretation is in order.
"Hmm. Might one of the passengers yet on this train be your patron?"
Is Najaran around? She might see Elidibus holding this conversation. Or perhaps the woodfolk would be willing to lead him to her at this prompt.
Re: Rock Garden or Elsewhere - Najaran [Closed to Najaran]
The Woodlfolk would have kept a wary eye on him at first, but calmed over time when he remained unaggressive. When he finally approached, one of them stopped working to listen to him. It frowned at what he said and shifted a bit, as if unsure. The others gathered around it. They seemed to confer, though without anything even vaguely speech like then they all turned towards Najaran.
Who chose that moment to roll over and give a loud and unattractive snore.

He'll crouch down, making an effort to lightly touch her shoulder in order to wake her up.
"Are you awake? I would like to speak with you."
no subject
"Najaran, WAKE UP!" Goligan yeslled from his place on her belt.
She sat up, yawning. "Not sleeping, just resting my eyes a moment," she mumbled.
no subject
"I apologize for interrupting your sleep." Yes indeed he knows better. That was definitely sleep. "These seedkin have indicated you are their keeper. May I have a word with you about them?"
no subject
"Seedkin...?" she asked, confused as she rubbed at her eyes.

Elidibus nods toward the Woodfolk. "These here. On my star, they would be considered seedkin. Ambulatory flora with a will of their own."
That probably leaves little wonder for their label.
"With the Voidtrecker Express's consent, I will be turning the garden into a snowfield for a day. I was concerned these beings might have trouble adjusting to the sudden shift in clime."
no subject
"Naja is perhaps not the best student," Goligan said with a heavy sigh, mustache drooping.
no subject
"The garden will become like winter," the Ascian offers in more simple terms. "Can the Woodfolk survive a day or would they need a safe haven in another carriage until I return the garden to how it is now?"

Elidibus looks to the Woodfolk that might still happen to be nearby. "Are you able to understand them?"
no subject
All the adult woodfolk crossed their arms and glared at her.
"Then you wanna stay, even though it'll be cold and snowy?"
They turned and went back to their work, tending their small patch of soil.
"I think they'll stay," she said. She set down the baby. "And that they're still mad at me."
no subject
He waits then, watching Najaran speak with the Woodfolk and watching their response. Note of the phrase 'Card' is made to be asked about later. First he considers whether it's useful to ask why they're mad. Though.... in the end this doesn't appear to be particularly relevant to his own interactions with the creatures and the designs he has on their living space in the near future.
"Thank you. I shall be sure not to disrupt their home overmuch." There is a pause before he asks. "May I ask what you meant by their Cards? Perhaps some form of storage, similar to the pokeballs I've heard people speak of?"
no subject
"See? Like this one is Knight, this is my shield. This one is the spell Mutate."
"Najaran is NOT allowed to use her spell Cards," Goligan said, interrupting.
She sighed and plucked that card apart, putting it behind her back, it flew back into the pouch.
