Who: Usagi Tsukino (AU) and You!
Where: Lab, Games Car, Training Gym
When: Pol 2-event
What: Usagi doing her usual things before the event!
Warnings:
Games Car
"A-ha! You think you can beat me?" Usagi had found the Knight Quest game and had found herself just lost in its simple adventuring. Just her, the controls and the mysterious world around her. Her adventures could also be seen on the screen as, at the moment, Usagi was busy fighting a group of Orcs that had surrounded her. The fun thing about VR games is that she wasn't bound to the whims of RNG and could react better in the real world.
The fight was amazing on screen as Usagi's combat skills translated better into the game. Blades scraped over armor and an arrow cut the hairband of Usagi's character, sending hair sprawling, but the blonde proved herself victorious in the end.
"Is that all you can do? I know you can do better!" she taunted, not realizing she was being watched.
Lab
Once more, Usagi had hidden herself away into the lab. She wasn't going to try and weaken herself - Silvia convinced her of that bit - but, she wanted to work on the other brooch she retrieved. She wanted this to be an item someone else could use in the future and she wanted to see how it worked. Seeing it laid out, the usual costume nothing but sprawling ribbons before her and not on her was something of a sight to her.
"I see now." she said. "The brooch has very little power by itself. It's also powered by emotions." She closed her eyes and chuckled. "I'm such a bunhead. I was so scared, so terrified back then, all I wanted to be was stronger and..."
She shook her head. She had friends here. She had someone she loved here. Silvia was right, Princess Mars was right. She didn't need to take in everything by herself.
Right now, though, she decided to play with the brooch a bit, channeling her own magic into, more ribbons flowing out from it. "They're so soft..."
Lab - Part 2
And if you decide to come in long after Usagi's epiphany, you might find the lab car covered in ribbons, Usagi laughing in glee echoing through the car.
"Look at this!" she would call out. If you got and investigate, you might find Usagi playing with the ribbons that loosely bound her, willing some of it into various articles of clothing.
"Who needs silly uniforms, huh?" she called out. "Come join in!"
Training Gym
It was that time of day again for Usagi to do her usual training, transformed into Sailor Moon once more. There was something different in her step as she came in, as if she finally understood what she wanted to do.
"I've been an idiot. I tried using you and I tried tossing you away to protect you." she uttered to herself. "No, we need to work together..." She clutched the arm holding her Moon Forge bracer, smiling. "When we get home, you all get to return to who you belong to. For now, please help me."
And with that, she launched her tiara out to dodge the attack, the glowing chakram once more being a difficult object to dodge, though there's an edge on Usagi's part...

[Kyoko waves a hand and chains fly across the room, intersecting at various points along it.]
Anyway, think you could make me a few targets? I need to learn to shoot straight before I take it into even a spar.
no subject
[She’ll summon up more ribbons, setting them up on the chains and form into targets.]
Try these.

[An arrow forms out of red light on the string as Kyoko pulls it back, the head strongly resembling that of her spear. It's only visible for a moment before it bursts into flames and she lets it fly.
Her aim is somewhat off, only hitting the outer ring on her first target, but the flames consume it in an instant anyway.]

I know, I know - it's silly to say those attacks, but a lot of the monsters I fought didn't really care if we shouted our attacks.
As for your aim, it's good, but you just need to aim a little differently. I'm sure magical arrows fly like normal ones.
no subject
[Kyoko takes aim again and a flaming arrow bursts into existence on her bow.]
Oh, good, Mars is only making me say it once.
[Her aim is better this time, hitting the target in one of the inner rings.]
no subject
[She is impressed at the next shot.]
Don’t be embarrassed. Let it flow…
no subject
[Kyoko takes aim once more. Just before she fires, she seems to spot something in the flames and changes the angle of her bow at the last moment. The arrow flies in a perfect line, striking the next target dead in the center.]
What? In the fire, I... I saw myself hitting the target, so I tried mimicking it and it worked. I guess Mars can see the future?

no subject
[Kyoko takes aim at another target and shoots it dead center again.]
Alright, once I get used to it it's not all that different from aiming my spear. Gonna have to apologize to Madoka for stealing her thing, though.
no subject
[She chuckled a bit at Kyoko apologizing.]
I’m sure Madoka won’t mind. Besides, two of the same thing might actually be helpful!
