What: Maglor is still recovering from being trapped
Where: All over the train but ending in the Standard Coach
When: Day 29

When a musician gets stressed, they tend to start playing. And have a hard time stopping. Ever since the door unlocked, Maglor hasn't been back to his cabin. Hasn't slept. Hasn't rest. Just took his harp and left. Who would go looking for him, anyway? He's just one broken elf! No one of consequence.

Random little chords can be heard, plucked along. But for the most part, he's fled when he's seen anyone come close. But it's a small train, and it's only a matter of time before he's caught.

And eventually, he gets tired enough to end up sitting quietly, staring out into the Void as his fingers pluck away at his harp.

They know how to calm the other, if only temporarily. Maglor nuzzles his brother's shoulder again.

"I know, Nelyo. I feel the same. But it is not our choice, is it?"

"Very little is our choice." he grumbles, glancing at the window. A shadow crosses the pale iris of the eye Morgoth had injured and he shudders.

"But I can carry them to safety."

"We can only do our best." He free his hands from his brother's grasp so he can wrap his arms around Maedhros.

"We can carry them to safety."

"I don't wish to endanger you any further." he loves his shadow - his right hand - but it is time Kano stands in the light.

"You are a child too to me." his lips twitch.

He far prefers to follow than to lead! Maglor leans on his brother, snuggling close.

"I go where you go. Or have you forgotten your promise?" To never leave him behind again.

[castintoflames]

"No, I haven't." Maedhros grabs a blanket and wraps it around his brother, "But do not expect me to not defend you with all that is left of me."

[seawanderer]

"Only if I can be right there defending your back too." He's the one who lived through it all. Technically. He doesn't shake off the blanket though.

"Look at me, Kano. What damage will faze me?" he shrugs and gives Maglor a slightly paternal frown, "I have been honed for it."

Maglor obeys, studying his brother's face. "That does not matter, Nelyo. You are my brother. I am your right hand. Your shadow. I always have been."

[castintoflames]

"You are precious." he growls, pain and anger flashing in his eyes, "I took advantage of you. I won't anymore."

This brother of his is one of his jewels.
