Madoka had no idea that Nozomi was adopted - though she guesses it only makes sense, since it's not like she often asks people about their parents. It can be a difficult topic, especially when they're all on a train, separated from their families and people they love by such a long distance.

So instead she just slowly nods.

"I see.." And apparently magical girl-ness is.. inherited? Partially? Or at least it's something that's been happening in Nozomi's world over multiple generations, just like in Madoka's own.
