Rezo instinctively hunkers back down when Lioriley’s pace speeds up, clinging to her sleeve as the swaying increases. Still, he does manage to nuzzle her back, very slightly.

“Anything for you, my love,” he says before settling back.

He’s not really aware of how close they are to his room- normally he’d have a feel for it based on how far he’d walked, but since he isn’t doing the walking and he’s rather distracted by a myriad of things right now, it’s somewhat of a surprise when he feels Lioriley come to a stop. Again, he raises his head.

“Is this it?” he asks.
