His fur was surprisingly soft and very pleasant to the touch, his scales smooth and beautiful. But that wasn't very surprising - of course Rezo would be beautiful in any form; human, dragon, or otherwise. Though maybe she was a bit biased.

All of this to say that she greatly enjoyed petting him; her fingertips smoothing over scales and petting down fur along his back, the top of his head; gently scratching her nails behind his ears. She slowed only once he started to rumble.

"Are you purring, love?" Or should she be more worried?
