"Art." Q'uila shrugs, it was a little strange. "Any creative expression could be used to channel magic with various effects. More ephemeral arts like music or dance could create some of the biggest, flashiest displays of magic but the span of the magic was much shorter. 'Tis why I was glad to be skilled in smithing, it has more permanency to it and the use of symbology just sits better in my mind when it comes to crafting the effects desire from my material."

At Elidubus' request Q'uila's ears lower and she frowns at the Ascian, studying him silently. This was not a good idea...But did it really outweigh what an Ascian could achieve through Creation magic? And it was possible that Elidibus might have some sort of insight that could help her further her craft seeing as his breadth of experience was far broader than her own.

"I-I suppose I could though I know not how well I might explain it to you. A lot of the practice is down to gut feeling and you would need to find some of your own symbols and glyphs to use as some of the symbology I use would mean nothing to you and so the enchantments either would not take or would be far less effective."

As she says this she begins to open draws to pull out some basic steel ingots and a file.
