"Don't worry, I'm all good." In a way, on easy mode was harder for Idia than the hardest mode, Meteor Mode. He's used to things being faster, more attacks on screen, all the works. His timing is used to that, not this. This was too easy for him. Instead he will focus on Romeo, if it looks like the boy is in a tight spot and can't get out of it, Idia will maneuver his character in front of Romeo's to take a hit or two. Only two though, since they were limited to three lives. Gotta make sure Romeo gets to the first boss at the very least.
And talking of that... the screen losing the rest of it's enemies, an emptiness to it... before the first boss appears. "Watch where you go and take him down. You better win this." It meant as encouragement rather than a warning, for Romeo to give it his all and get that kill.
