What: The Usual Fight club training. Where people come to spar and practice and learn with each other.
Warnings: Occasional language and violence? Also guns/firearms.

This time Trunks didn't bother to announce the Fight Club over the ICP. Not beyond a short announcement of day and time. The Club was already mentioned in train literature and most people knew about it, or could find out easily.

So instead he did his usual set-up. Marking off an area safely for ranged weapons and fire-arms, ensuring practice weapons and mats were all available. Even making sure there were first aid kids and an 'off-limits' area just for safety. Then, he's there as usual--to supervise, but also to train just like everyone else.

So, the idea of a "fight club" had gotten his attention, and he was curious. Duo wasn't much of a hand-to-hand fighter, but he didn't mind watching others. But finding that this place was more like a gym and combat practice arena made it even better.

He perused the weapons cabinet, trying to decide what he wanted to work with first. There was a pretty decent selection of firearms, too. He was kind of impressed.

Allen had mostly come as a way to see what others were doing, maybe get an idea or two of what he could practice on. Maybe even find a sparing partner or two.

What Allen never need to decide on was weapon choice, he had already gotten use to the sword that his arm could turn into and just the sword in general. But he was always curious about those who were still looking.

"Find anything that interests you?"

"Kind of," Duo said. "Got a decent selection of firearms here." He was used to those. Melee and hand-to-hand wasn't really something he did often, though he could definitely throw a decent punch if he had to. "I'm guessing there's a shooting range in here to practice these with?"

He reached over and picked up a pistol. Handling it with care, he checked it out, definitely looking like someone with experience and respect for what he had in his hand.

"I would assume so. I've never practice with those so I wouldn't be able to tell you if there is one or if people are meant to set one up themselves."

Allen had his own weapons after all and it had been a long time since he used any kind of gun weapon, he just didn't think he could.

"So you are use to using guns?"

"Not a firearms kind of person, huh?" That was fine. Heck, Wufei still fought with a sword sometimes. It was a thing.

"Yeah... I'm used to it." He held it up, handling it like someone with experience, testing the weight, how it handled, making sure the chamber and clip were empty before testing the action by cocking it. He released the mechanism without firing, taking his finger off the trigger before holding it down at his side, not pointing it anyone.

"Well, it would be nice to have a range or something to practice with them. Some can be a little tricky. Depending on how they're made, each one can have little quirks you have to get used to. Even two models of the same kind might behave just a little bit different, and that can mean a lot when you're relying on it to protect you in a fight."

"I did use something like that a while back, but I am just much better at other weapons" Okay the gun of sorts had been his arm which was always easy to use but that was not something he was going to go into detail about because in his mind it wasn't exactly important to mention it.

But someone being use to it and him not being sure as to how old they might be exactly reminds him that people so young is still a thing no matter the world.

"Unfortunately, I doubt something like that will be available, so the best we have is makeshift." Considering what has been going on and how the points system seems to work Allen wouldn't be sure they could get such a thing in time anyway.

Duo nodded. Sticking with what you were more comfortable with was something Duo could appreciate. "Knowing your strengths... that's important." For now, he put the weapon back in the cabinet.

"Well, then... we'll just have to figure something out. I figure, with the length of a train car, setting up a one or two stall firing range shouldn't be too hard." He tapped the side of his nose in thought for a second, and then nodded. "Yeah. I think I can work on that."

"It is, but also is knowing your weaknesses so you can either work on them or just hide them so others won't know." He was use to having to fight so in his mind best not to let them figure out weaknesses they could use. Same with openings.

Allen looked around for a moment. "I will admit, I wouldn't know how to set one up. So if you do I would help but probably would need to be told what to do."

Bah, it wouldn't be that hard, to be honest. Just need a long space, some paper targets, and a bulletproof backing. Usually, it's something that's padded up, too, to catch the bullets instead of them bouncing all over the place. If we wanted to get fancy, we could add a pulley and rope system to make it easier to change targets instead of having to walk all the way down there and mount them or something.

[Duo looked thoughtful for a moment.] Is there like a printer or something that we could print large stuff on? For the targets.

Allen didn't know what any of that stuff was exactly so he couldn't help but look blanked face for just a moment. Did they have anything like that on the train? Because he didn't know what it was he actually didn't know.

"I believe that there is a printer somewhere on the train. I just don't know which carriage."

"Hm. I'll have to go look for it, then," Duo said. "In the meantime, we can just make 'em by hand if we have to. Just need paper or cardboard to do it." He shrugged.

"So, what other stuff is there here? You said there were more than just firearms?"

"There are a small selection of weapons to, but I din't really look to see what they are since I have my own one on hand at all times." Even though it was clear he didn't have his weapon supposedly on him currently didn't mean it wasn't there.

"Sometimes people leave thier own weapons there to which you'll be able to tell which is someone else's and which was put in there for training."

"Right..." Duo nodded. "Well, it's good to be able to tell. Never take someone else's weapon without asking first." Duo also knew never to judge if someone was armed by what you could and couldn't see. He'd hidden enough weapons on himself before to know that concept. "So, which one's yours? Or do you keep it elsewhere?" He was curious as to who else was on the train and what else people were using.
