What: The Usual Fight club training. Where people come to spar and practice and learn with each other.
Warnings: Occasional language and violence? Also guns/firearms.

This time Trunks didn't bother to announce the Fight Club over the ICP. Not beyond a short announcement of day and time. The Club was already mentioned in train literature and most people knew about it, or could find out easily.

So instead he did his usual set-up. Marking off an area safely for ranged weapons and fire-arms, ensuring practice weapons and mats were all available. Even making sure there were first aid kids and an 'off-limits' area just for safety. Then, he's there as usual--to supervise, but also to train just like everyone else.

Actually, "No, I'm not." Then a smirk. "I think your woman gave him more than he could handle at the time." Or at least could had. Vegeta had noticed that spike in ki from her anger, but it had also started to drop off far faster than he expected. He's guessing Trunks had talked her down. Otherwise he was expecting to see their new passenger minus one or two limbs. It was for the best it didn't happen. But it also would had been entertaining.

"It would not had helped anything." Vegeta continues, his face calming again. "In fact I'm surprised something like this hasn't happened earlier," A look around the room. "Maybe to not this extent though." It was mostly cleaned up now from what had happened, but still enough signs of what had transpired.

Trunks couldn't help the little smug-and-warm feeling. His woman...although he was Cassie's just as much. It was nice to have his father's approval, even if it wasn't necessary at all.

"Considering all the various traumas we all carry, you're right." Trunks said, huffing out a breath but relaxing some. "Believe me, I wanted to rip into him. That's why I followed and didn't let him get away."

Vegeta is quiet for several moments, almost debating if to speak, before doing so. "I'm... concerned regarding missions to come." The fact he was saying this to Trunks, or out loud to anyone... Bulma maybe would hear it, but for the most Vegeta keeps such concerns to himself. "I do not want a repeat of this all during a risky situation that may endanger the teams." He's not too sure what to do about it. It's not like he's a talker, and no doubt if he did approach the Doctor over it, it would not go well. He's used to ordering people to do something, not compromising with them.

Trunks drew in a breath, then let it out slowly. "Better it happen now then, and we deal with it now." If his father was actually confiding in him for once... "I know Cassie plans to follow up for certain. I also...trust Wash. To at least make it clear this behavior was not okay." Trunks liked the other soldier, and knew he took gun safety as serious as Cassie did.

"He's on red team right?"

Vegeta has to raise a brow at that, silent for a long moment, then, "So I should expect to be cleaning up blood after her 'follow up'?" Even with the seriousness it was delivered with... that was actually a joke, regarding Cassie's normal temperament, as well as the fact Red Team was on general clean up duty for the month. The idea of her dealing with this guy later... well, yeah, she seemed the type once she blew off enough steam that it would turn into something verbal rather than physical. "If she's going to, tell her to do it somewhere where it's not Red's area to clean up."

"He is. I will be interested to see how he deals with his ideals once in a real situation." As Vegeta is not expecting it to last. Or if it does and it does somehow avoid unneeded death, then so be it. As long as Red gets their job done and it doesn't compromise the rest of the teams.

"Nah, she knows how to inflict an injury without causing it to bleed." Trunks might be joking back, even with the seriousness of his reply. "No clean up necessary then."

Having it confirmed though, Trunks sighed and raked his fingers through his bangs. "Well let's hope he gets all of his issues out here and now then, rather than on a mission."

"I still can't see how the train placed him on Red Team in the first place." A shake of his head to go along with it, before adding. "If he makes his way to Purple Team during a mission, keep an eye on him. For others, and himself." Idiots like that have the tendency to get themselves in trouble.

"You may not be fully aware of it with your time within our time period," Vegeta's not fully clear how much that Bulma had told Trunks before he arrived, and most of Trunks time had been around him, not Goku. "But his talk is very similar to Kakarot's, giving everyone a second chance, even at the expense of our side." How many times had Goku given the enemy a chance only for it to be turned back on them? If he just finished them off when he did it would had been so much easier. "Be cautious of his... optimism."

"Maybe because even though he's not a fighter, he's got the spirit of one?" Trunks hazarded, wondering a bit himself about the team's placements by the train. Red couldn't JUST be because they were fighters, or he and Cassie and several others would be on it by that qualification alone. Orange generally seemed to gain the non-combatants and scientists, but that was all Trunks was comfortable saying with any certainty.

Trunks listened though, and then tilted his head. "Is his being like Goku that bad of an idea? Not that I don't agree and appreciate the warning. But Goku is regarded as the greatest hero Earth ever had."

Trunks gets such a look with that, something between annoyed and flat, towards that little title of Goku's. You really didn't have to go that far, Trunks.

Fine, let him educate you, boy. "There is a number of times Kakarot should had and could had ended a fight, but chose not to. Either because he wanted to give them a chance, or it wasn't enough of a challenge for him at the time. And every time he did it resulted in our opponent being able to pull off some bull shit they wouldn't had been able to if he had the guts to just end them when he should had." Vegeta is all for a good fight, has a need for it, but he also recognizes when he has someone beaten and to get rid of them. And when they could be a greater threat later if not dealt with at the time.

It wasn't mindless slaughter like he once used to do, it's getting rid of a danger that could come back for them later.

Trunks at least can tell from that look that he has hit a nerve. So he refrains from pointing out that Vegeta is one of those who'd benefitted from Goku's mercy. Admittedly, the fact that the other saiyan would sometimes just want more of a fight wasn't a reassuring concept when he should just end the fight.

"Well, I'm not Goku. We'll see what the Doctor is like, and what he can pull out too. I'll try and keep an eye on him."

Vegeta is well aware he is part of that 'let the person go' group. And he still thinks Goku was an idiot for allowing him that. Yes, it worked out for the best, but it was a stupid move. A stupid move Vegeta was more than happy to had used to his advantage to get away, as much as that loss had been a major blow to his pride and ego.

"I'm well aware you're not." Trunks had proven that with Freeza, let alone his drive to take down the androids. No second chances, just finishing what needed to be done. "Good." Vegeta adds, then, after a pause, he also offers, "So will I." How annoying, however... he would. To keep this guy out of their way.
