Fight Club Time Again (I had requests for it)

Where: Training Gym
When: Day 20
What: The Usual Fight club training. Where people come to spar and practice and learn with each other.
Warnings: Occasional language and violence? Also guns/firearms.

This time Trunks didn't bother to announce the Fight Club over the ICP. Not beyond a short announcement of day and time. The Club was already mentioned in train literature and most people knew about it, or could find out easily.

So instead he did his usual set-up. Marking off an area safely for ranged weapons and fire-arms, ensuring practice weapons and mats were all available. Even making sure there were first aid kids and an 'off-limits' area just for safety. Then, he's there as usual--to supervise, but also to train just like everyone else.

OOC:general set up is 'Ranged area demarcated by cones' 'off limits/healing area demarcated by cones' and the rest of the space covered in mats with training dummies set up

"No," Cassie says. "My mother is, though. If you want to talk it out with another veteran who's been at it for longer than I have and came here in worse shape than I did."

Cassie reasons that he might be more comfortable talking to someone older, closer to his own age. Though given how odd his energy feels, maybe she's not quite as much older as she thinks.

Ten just stares for a moment thinking about Jackie and Martha's mother, Francine. He's not sure, given his history with his companion's mom if this is a good idea.

"I want to talk to someone who will not only listen but I'm comfortable with and them with me." The Doctor remarks simply.

"So...'not me,' is what you're saying."

"Funny, thing. After all of this, I am more comfortable with you now."

"I might need a couple minutes," Cassie says. "But you've risen in my standing. Not that there was anywhere to go but up."

She shoots him a slight smile to let him know she's at least a quarter kidding.

"But you've got a lot of options. This train's got a lot of people on it who've been through a lot. You don't have to be alone here."

The Doctor gives something of a smirk back and then a head nod. Then a deep breath, "The thing is... Some of this is - because of all my other faces... My companions.... Haven't always reacted the best to seeing me change. But I'll keep in mind, anyone you recommend."

"You and Trunks might have a lot to say to each other," Cassie says. "Once you've apologized to him, that is. You gotten around to him yet?"

"I will."

"Good. If that's all for now, I think we can go back to what we were doing."

Cassie rises to her feet.

"We'll talk again."
