Fight Club Time Again (I had requests for it)

When: Day 20
What: The Usual Fight club training. Where people come to spar and practice and learn with each other.
Warnings: Occasional language and violence? Also guns/firearms.

This time Trunks didn't bother to announce the Fight Club over the ICP. Not beyond a short announcement of day and time. The Club was already mentioned in train literature and most people knew about it, or could find out easily.

So instead he did his usual set-up. Marking off an area safely for ranged weapons and fire-arms, ensuring practice weapons and mats were all available. Even making sure there were first aid kids and an 'off-limits' area just for safety. Then, he's there as usual--to supervise, but also to train just like everyone else.

OOC:general set up is 'Ranged area demarcated by cones' 'off limits/healing area demarcated by cones' and the rest of the space covered in mats with training dummies set up

Sebek at least had the right mentality about it all. He doesn't read especially high in ki for Vegeta, but not baseline like human either. There's a moment of pause, before, "Fine." Vegeta accepts it. However some clarification first, "How exactly do you want to train? With fists, swords, or ki?" Good to know the boy's limits, and what he's most comfortable with. Training what he's not used to can come later, but to start with it should be what he knows best.

"While I have one of the Ministry's batons, I think the best way to see how I compare to you will be with fists." Sebek wants to test his strength. Prowess with a weapon can happen later.

Little do the both of them know that any attempt to spar will be loudly interrupted by something involving weapons. The gym erupts into chaos, and Sebek diverts his attention to the guns falling off the rack and to the ground. There's a lot of shouting.

For once, it's not Sebek doing the majority of the yelling. "What--?!"

...does he just knock the kid out in one hit? Well, maybe not 'knock out', but knock him off his feet? No, that wouldn't teach him anything. Better to see what he can do, and maybe Vegeta can offer some pointers. "Fine," Planning to move them off to a suitable spot that was currently not used by others. Or having people shouting at each other about stuff...

Though as those guns dropped, Vegeta's head whipped around to observe the situation, quick to see if there was any threats to others with them falling. It didn't seem to be, but even without it, his arm is already up and in front of Sebek in a blink of an eye, in case something had launched itself his way. A moment later to pick up what happened with the drama going on with others, Vegeta let out an annoyed 'tsk!' of a hiss from between his teeth. "Pathetic." Hm, a glance back to Sebek as Vegeta let his arm drop, "Sparring will have to wait." Before moving off to check on the situation and start getting things cleared up and out of peoples' way.

Knocking him out in one hit would have been a sure fire way to have Sebek idolize his strength. Although, Sebek is already impressed at the speed in which he moved in front of him to protect him. That alone tells him that he's picked well. Such quick reaction and desire to shield someone is among what Sebek wants to hone to better his service to Master Malleus.

"The safety of others is paramount!" Sebek says with a nod. He will exit into the hallway and try to direct people away from the gym until everything has settled down.

That's... usually what he's told to do in these sorts of situations, so he does it without thinking.

Sebek's loudness doesn't startle Vegeta at all, he's all too used to being around those who often yelled or screamed, normally Bulma... however he does seem confused as Sebek starts to head off. However, "Kid, come back here." It's less about what Sebek has plans to do, and who Vegeta had seen just leave the room, and in a rage.

He doesn't want this kid getting caught up in whatever Cassie is about to do to their new arrival...

"They have it handled outside." Vegeta at least trusts Trunks to handle it all, maybe not Cassie when her temper is up like this. "Move the shelves out of the way." He would handle the guns, since Vegeta has no clue if Sebek has any idea how to handle one, even if it's unloaded. Cassie had taught Vegeta the importance of gun handling. Even if they were useless for him to use, she made a point that him knowing how to handle them was just as important so to keep those who had no clue about them safe around them.

Sebek halts in his step and turns around to look at Vegeta again. He seems a little flustered at having been told to stop. This is usually asked of him, but... the narrower hallways do mean that fewer people can congregate in and navigate them at any one time. He's not small. He could cause more congestion during an emergency.

Then Vegeta adds that they have it handled, and Sebek follows his request. He begins to move the shelves, easily putting them a small distance from the scattered guns and pieces. What matter of spell did that human(?) cast to make these fall apart so effortlessly?

"Were Master Malleus here, he would have this sorted in a matter of seconds." Instead, Sebek has to use his strength, and that doesn't instantly put everything back in their place.

"I have no clue who this Malleus is." No, Vegeta, don't say that, you don't know what you've just started.

Really, he had done it mostly out of just reaction, focused on making sure the guns were still all safe enough to be set up somewhere until Cassie or someone with similar knowledge of them came back in to check on them. And for them to get all the shelving back up. It's an annoyance, he had came to train or observe and see what others were capable of, not dealing with someone's temper tantrum.

Unless he's stopped, Sebek will ramble excitedly about Malleus, his magical prowess, his accomplishments, so on and so on. He's clearly enthusiastic and proud of who he serves. Sebek still does his task since he doesn't have to convince Vegeta to listen to him (like he had with Jamil, Grim, and Yuu when moving chairs).

Vegeta may be dealing with someone's temper tantrum, but he's also dealing with a puppy. The puppy is less dangerous; however, that doesn't lessen the need to deal with him.
