Who: Wei Wuxian + Open!
What: Cooking, training, meditating
Where: Kitchen, gym, and possibly garden carriages.
When: Throughout Feb
Warnings: Potential death by spice, otherwise usual warnings that come with Wuxian.
Kitchen:
Khardeen isn't the only one cooking, though what this Chinese young man has in the works might be a bit...too...spicy for most residents. He has, at least, learned to label dishes that have ginger in them, and cares enough about his fellow passengers to actually do so. But the rest is all hands off, and paprika, chili powder, peppers, and the like are mercilessly used in everything he makes.
Wuxian glances over at whoever comes by while he's cooking, and generally manages a bright smile for them. "Have anything you'd like seen made?" He can definitely take requests, and will do his best to make whatever it is! Even better if whoever asks for it, if it's unfamiliar, is willing to show him or find a recipe for him to follow.
Gym:
Wei Wuxian is not an early riser, normally, but he's starting pulling himself out of bed at the time his husband usually does, and the time he knows his son usually does, and gets started on pushing himself through exercises to strengthen his golden core. Exercises he hasn't really been doing since his resurrections, but he hadn't really needed them. Hadn't had someone to really protect, but now he does. And he needs to get stronger again.
So he throws himself whole-heartedly into some intense workouts. Martial arts forms, over and over and over again. Mostly he ignores those who come in while he's hard at work, but if someone watches him long enough, or calls his name, he'll register the attention and pause whatever form he's on.
Garden:
Images or not, danger of falling into a staring match with the Void, or not, difficult or not, Wuxian knows he needs to get back to meditating. So he does. He'll find the most peaceful little corner and settle into Lotus position and focus on reaffirming and coaxing his body into forming a golden core, then coax into growing stronger. Eventually he really needs to get a new sword...
And it's only when he meditates that he changes out of his uniform, into his cultivation robes.

Eventually when he reopens his eyes, it's with a smile for his son, and an easier time breathing.
"You have your father's skill, A-Yuan."

As the music comes to a close, he lifts his head and returns the smile, warm yet concerned.
"I'm a poor imitation." he flushes nonetheless, "It helps me when I feel like my head is too full."

"What did Lan Zhan tell you about it?" Rhetorical, of course. He knows exactly what his husband said about Sizhui's skill with the guqin.
"Mm. For me too, when I let it." Because he has been unwell enough not to let it in the past, even played by Wangji.

"He said I have talent." he murmurs shyly, smiling a split second later, "When you let it?"
Now that is something he has never encountered - a head too hard to absorb the music's effects. His mother really is remarkable.
"When I was sick, he played for me often."

Wuxian rolls his eyes at the question, though doesn't restrain the smile either.
"Mm. Before I came back. I was far too angry at everything." Easier to talk about now, with someone who knows most of the story. "Not even Lan Zhan could calm me then." Yanli could have, but she wasn't everywhere.
"Good." Forever grateful for Wangji for taking this child in and raising him so well. For the Lan clan for accepting him as one of their own, despite being a Wen by birth.

"Things were...complicated. Unfair." he chooses his words with care, understanding from what he learned about the past that not everything was handled well, "You like helping others. Not everyone does."
Sizhui realizes how lucky he had been to be protected by a family who refused to give up, to be found by a man who adopted him almost immediately and then to be found by another man who was willing to face the wrath of his sect in order to keep him safe.
"I saw...my Aunt." on the platform, "Have you seen her?"
Kitchen
"Are you really sure you need that many chillis."

Still, Wei obviously knows his craft, and whenever she's thoroughly worn herself out she takes comfort in watching him, among others in the car, and seeing someone more closely akin to 'expert'-status at work.
