He considers the fact the monster isn't setting off Peter's internal alarm. Tony's glove lowers as Peter seemed to get his point. It helped a lot and made him feel a bit foolish for doubting the kid. Tension was high and it had been a rough two days, so perhaps he really was overreacting a bit. However, as he looked about the platform there were some really little kids here. That Conan he spoke to earlier, barely a chicken nugget to this size of spider. He had a responsibility to keep everyone on this train and platform safe.

He takes a small step closer and looks at the spiders- uh.. many eyes. "I'll give my word. You won't be harmed on this train either. It goes both ways. There are children and other people vulnerable that need protecting here. However, I'm not going to let you get hurt or them get hurt so long as you can tell me you will behave yourself. Self defense is okay, but I'd rather you come find me if you feel threatened. If you're really just another lost passenger here, then I want to protect you too.
