It's an odd question, but it does make sense when she thinks about it.. Maybe there were no trains where this girl came from? Or maybe she has just never seen one before.

It's strange to think of a world without trains for sure, but Madoka isn't the type to judge anyone based on where they come from. So she just smiles politely - with only a hint of awkwardness - as she tries to explain.

"Ah, no! Trains usually move across the ground where I come from. There are tracks on the ground that they're able to move across. And those go pretty much anywhere. Through cities, through fields, to the beach.."
