So You're Buying Things From A Train, On A Train.
Who: Nita Callahan and YOU! (aka Open Post!)
Where: The Standard Caras is becoming standard for her...
When: Day two of Egret, late in the morning.
What: Nita buys many things from the shop.
Warnings: Not applicable this time! Except silliness, maybe.
Nita can be found at the shop-slash-vending-machine in the Standard Carriage, either waiting for someone or just tapping on the menu to see all her options.
"Let's see, what to get first? Well, I can always try getting something from home, see what information this train can work off of..."
(There will be toplevels for each section linked above! She's also ordering from 'most expensive per item' to 'lease expensive per item', so the food happens last. There is no tag order, so feel free to respond to what she's doing or ask her to move over and let YOUR character buy something!)

Which Nita still thought was weird.
"Maybe whatever it really is just parses audio better?"
Disability accommodations for inorganic objects - if that was even what the train really was. Nita has probably encountered stranger ideas, but that one still probably ranks pretty high.

She pokes through the menu.
"Have you done that fashion thing I saw? An outfit? Orange is nice but..."
no subject
"Nah. If you've met Charlotte, she'll make you an outfit just for one of the snacks up here. Easier to minimize spending, and I don't think this allows you to specify your preferences."
Nita taps the vendor herself, before giving Persephone space to take over.

Persephone lets her mess with whatever she needs, then puts up her ticket to buy a bag of crisps. Wouldn't do to use Nita's points.
"IS Charlotte the one with those fliers?"
no subject
"Yep. White coat, a little bit of pink... and all those legs. She's got magic of her own, too."
Not that Nita knows her specialty or anything.

"Maybe we're color coordinated." She laughs, then pauses, "Is she actually a spider? I thought it was just a name!"
no subject
She certainly wasn't a Yaldat!
"But that's practically a given, with all these worlds we're representing."
no subject
"I'll ask for her. Spiders are probably good at weaving silks anyways, makes perfect sense to do clothing." Though it feels a little like she's trying to convince herself. "Does she stay in a particular cabin?"
no subject
Not Olympus specifically, of course, but being the new person on the scene, out-of-the-loop... she more than got that much.
"She hangs out in the Dressing car a lot, second-to-last car of the train."
It's not her cabin, but when you could teleport then it hardly mattered, didn't it?
no subject
"I hadn't gotten that far back in the train. It already feels a little rude to go through all the sleeping cars, I didn't want to go that far."
no subject
"It helps that each room's keyed to just a few tickets; unless a door is open, we won't end up seeing anything we shouldn't."
Well, that was the idea, presumably.
no subject
I suspect she's not going to find anything more specific than 'what chips sense like'; salt, etc.
"Let me have a look. Must be a good seal, if we can't smell it from here..."
no subject
"Please don't open it, I was hoping to exchange it for clothing."
no subject
"Not getting any sense of food dye in this bag. Just salt, fried potato... maybe some seasoning?"
No sense of what the flavor was, really. Nita hands it back.
"May as well open it whenever, then. Doubt you want to know how much salt is in it; they are chips."
She gives a knowing grin.
"Kind of spoils their deliciousness."
