Cute Meetings [Closed]

Who: Naminé & Terra
When: Day 2
Where: The Dining Car most likely.
What: Terra is giving Naminé a present.

Naminé was sitting with her back to the train car sidingl when Terra first approached. She had been drawing but paused to greet her dark haired friend, rising to her feet to greet him. Her sketchbook and pencils were placed on a table next to her as she met his gaze.

"Terra! It's good to see you!"

It was always good to see him.

She noticed that he was holding something behind his back and tilted her head to try and peek around him. "What do you have there?" Naminé couldn't catch sight of it, so she straightened and met Terra's gaze. She trusted that he was going to tell her what he was holding.

"No. It's okay. I don't need more. This one is perfect." She hugged the bear and felt her heart swell until it threatened to burst in her chest. Terra was so nice to her and it made her feel a little weak in the knees.

"I'm so happy Terra." He always made her happy and a bit speechless. "I- um... this is so wonderful."

She's still trying to hide her face behind the bear and it looks absolutely adorable.

"Are..you sure?" Terra asked. And then he saw Namine hug the bear with everything she had. Maybe he should buy her more bears anyway and then she'd be surrounded by friends. Maybe she could even have tea parties with them, that was something Aqua had done when she was little. Only when she was feeling nice did he get to be involved with those.

They were fun but he couldn't ever tell her that because she'd look at him funny.

This girl did look adorable and he smiled a little shyly. "I'm really glad you like it."

"I am!" There were so few things that she was sure of but no matter how many other bears she got or future gifts she was given, none of them would be treasured as much as this bear because it was the first present that Terra's ever given her.

"Thank you. Terra." She was so lucky to have him in her life.

"I want to do something for you. Bucky and Nita have been helping me learn to cook. Can I make you dinner soon? It can just be the two of us."

"Okay." Terra said, a little unsure.

At seeing how happy Namine was, he had to smile back. Really she seemed to smile so much more than he remembered. And he wondered the reason for it.

The keyblade wielder was surprised when she said she wanted to do something for him. He had no idea who Bucky or Nita was, but he totally didn't know what he should say.

"Dinner's fine..but you don't have to do anything for me, I mean..the bear was to keep you safe."

Dork.

"I know but I want to do something for you. I was planning to when I learned how to cook better but I think I can make a few things. I would love for you to try it!"

She had been practicing in order to cook food for Terra in the first place.

"Maybe in a week or two? After the meal time so we aren't in anyone's way."

"Well okay I guess..if you really want to."

And then a thought occurred to him.

"We're going to have another mission soon too." He hated the idea of Namine out on missions to be honest. She belonged safe on the train, with all the others who couldn't fight.

"Oh. We can do it after the mission." She paused and realized a second later that he might be referring to something else.

"Should we go on the mission together? Like before?"

He nodded. "Yup, it's almost mission time again." Her question had him smiling and he tried to make light of how happy he was that she would allow him to keep an eye on her again. "You know, before long the Orange team might let you slide over to the Blue team since we keep kidnapping you for missions."

Terra was teasing of course, there was no actual kidnapping of Namine and the keyblade wielder knew that people changed teams often enough for whatever task they were suited for the best.

"That would be fun! I like the Blue team. And you're there!" She liked working with those on the Blue team. Of course, she liked the Orange team too but that wasn't currently in question.
