Warning Mad Scientist At Work
Who: Tony and OTA
Where: Varies
When: Apple Day 17- 20
What: Tony's keeping busy investigating, building, breaking things, you know. The usual.
Warnings: Language and I'll warn if there's EG spoilers
Quiet Car- {OTA + Manabu}
Tony has taken over one of the quiet rooms to be his own personal work space. There's a note on the wall next to the door saying just that and to stay out. If anyone chooses not to respect that, they'll find tools that had been um.. borrowed from the previous world and several mechanical projects in the works. Nothing is finished yet.
For Manabu: One of the projects, Tony is working on is fixing the laser gun that belonged to Manabu's dad. He's using both tools from the world, tools he's made, and a few items from the medical bay to get into the electric base of the gun.
Medical Car- {OTA}
Another place Tony has made himself at home is the medical area. He's taken some ingredients from the kitchen and using the tools from the medical bay to work on a few projects here as well. One can find him using some cups, mugs, bowls, and some silverware to do what looks like a couple chemistry projects.
Gym- {OTA}
When he's not cooped up with his brainy assignments, he's sparring in the gym or doing yoga. He had started off doing this by himself in his quiet room, but has clearly given that up and now does it wherever he pleases (but mostly the gym).
[Side Note]
He's repeatedly gotten so busy he has forgotten to eat or go to bed if anyone cares to notice.
[ooc- if there's something specific you'd like me to add just holler and I'll add it. Or I might think of something else and add it later.]
****
Storage car, wall where conductor's door should be.
Immediately following this
As Tony storms from the dressing carriage to the closest one to where the conductor should be, his armor clinks into place. His helmet drops into place and he barks a few orders to Friday and powers up, ready for a fight. He ignores any and all attempts to slow him down or explain himself. Finally when it's only the wall between him and the one he suspects has answers, he attacks.
"What the hell have you done with Gwen?! Come face me, you dickless tyrant!"

"How does a seven year old know how to fix a trash chute?"
The kid was brainy but, really? Come on! Could he imagine his daughter asking about a solution's concentration in three short years? Well.. two really. Her birthday was soon.
"There's a couple pH strips in the medicine cabinet over there. This certain one has a color as one of it's compounds, so I can just see the concentration."
no subject
Conan frowns in thought. "But that won't help with avoiding pain or identifying the toxic concentration level."
no subject
Setting the bowl back on the exam table in front of them, he sits back down and shrugs. "So now you see my problem."
no subject
It sounds to me like you need a doctor and a chemist.
no subject
[Even if it waa questionable whether Peter and Gwen could be known fully as 'human'.
Either way, he doesn't move to start wasting any more of the ingredients he's been playing with.]
To be a good detective, you're going to need criminology, psychology, law, and training as a police officer. The first three should be doctorates if you want to be the best. Think you can handle all of that?
no subject
[He wasn't entirely convinced that he needed a doctorate in all of them. It was the reputation that truly made a detective, not the number of degrees. But he'd spent ten years already studying them, and more besides. ]
no subject
[He shrugs.]
Either wway though.. what kind of programs are you doing at school?
no subject
no subject
Sports maybe? Look, I don't know what first graders do. My kid is only 4.
no subject
[He'd found it tedious and boring the first time he'd had to live through it. The second time hadn't improved it at all.]
no subject
You know, I graduated college when I was 15. You may need a better school system than what your parents have put you in. It didn't sound like our worlds were too different. There might be something like that if- when- we find a way to send everyone home, try to keep that in mind. You're far too bright to be stuck doing that crap.
no subject
My parents are in America and I don't talk to them often. Besides, the kids would be upset if I left the detective boys.
no subject
Are they living in America and you're in Japan alone? Someone must be your guardian if they're on some prolonged stay that would keep them from being able to sign you up for that kind of thing.
What's the detective boys? I thought you just said you didn't have any extra curricular activities.
no subject
[He shrugs.] I'm staying with some people in Japan. I guess they're responsible for me.
no subject
'Some people'?
[He shakes his head with a smirk.]
If I didn't know any better you have the mouth of a teenager.
no subject
I'm old for my age.
no subject
[He looks amused, but he moves on too.]
What kind of cases do you and your friends solve?
no subject
Although we do happen to come across a lot of murders.
no subject
A bunch of first graders are solving murder cases? Are you just that smart or are your police just that bad?
no subject
Probably a little of both. The Tokyo police are good at their job, but I'm good at noticing all the little things that everyone else misses. And I get a lot of practice assisting Uncle. He's a famous private detective.
no subject
[He wasn't buying this kid's 'distant' relative was some famous private eye. Why wouldn't he have mentioned that before?]
Well if you notice any murders on this train, be sure to let me know.
no subject
no subject
[Pause.]
How many times have you been on a train and someone's died?
no subject
Five murders on trains. And three other cases where no one was killed.
no subject
Perhaps you shouldn't be allowed on trains anymore.
