Who: Peter and OTA
Where: Varies
When: Apple Day 19 - 23
What: Petermoping wandering about the train, doing spider-kid stuff.
Warnings: Language?? Warnings will be added as needed.
{ Dining Car - Mornings }
Peter misses breakfast prep as he'd done the other week but he'll be around for lunch and dinner. In the mornings he makes his way into the dinning car for breakfast by late morning. He's a mess-his hair is uncombed, he's still in his pajamas and not bothering to wear socks or shoes. He puts entirely too much sugar in his coffee but the train still doesn't have energy drinks and he's gotta wake up somehow so a whole lot of sugar-coated caffeine it is.
He lets out long yawn and rubs at his face before taking a drink of of his coffee flavored sugar and then lays his head on the table, in a matter of minutes he's dozing lightly. Feel free to wake him.
{ Dining Car - Afternoon }
Peter's got a deck of cards to keep him entertained while they're on the train for who knows how long again. He gets bored easily so as a way to pass the time he's just sitting up in the dining car playing solitaire. He frowns at some of the face cards because they're not your typical King, Queen and Jack. He might be reading too much into it, but do these cards provide some kind of clue as to who put them on this train.
"Boiler man..." He turns the card over. Is there another part of the train they haven't gotten to? These cards suggest there's a driver and a conductor and here they were all thinking they were one and the same. "...Where would be boiler be? Near the engine?"
{ Dressing Car - Afternoon after lunch }
Having eaten plenty for lunch, Peter can be found in the dressing car in hammock made out of his webfluid. Not the best use of his webshooters when he's only got so much fluid left but he missed his hammocks. He's up in a corner of the ceiling, one leg hanging off the side as he reads a book. It's a lot better than he'd expected it to be but then again, maybe he should judge books just because some weird train store gave it to him as a random book.
{ Tony's Work Space - Later afternoon (Might Feature Tony Stark himself!) }
After a nice nap in his web hammock, Peter's made his way to the car Tony's taken over. He's not allowed in the work space without Tony being present-not since the incident back home so Tony himself is somewhere in the room while Peter tried to work on a new web fluid.
He's got his tongue sticking out slightly as he concentrates on mixing chemicals together. So far, all he's managed to make is a mess. There's a few splotches on his side of something that looks like it might be wet toilet paper on the counter and a vial has been knocked over but it was empty so it's fine.
He adds a couple of drops to his concoction only to have it change colors. He frowns. "Well that's not gonna work." He dumps it out in the sink and then scribbles in his notebook where he has 'Web Fluid 4.0' written at the top.
{ Cabin 1A - Early, Early in the morning on the 21st day | CW: Claustrophobia, Mentions of Skip Westcott and past abuse but nothing graphic }
Peter's hit what he refers to as a 'crash day' which means pretty much right after dinner he crawled into his bunk and crashed. It's the first crash day he's really had since they started this journey so he's happy to just let sleep happen.
That is, until a familiar nightmare hits. He's back under that warehouse, facing Toomes again with those wings crashing into the support pillars and the whole thing comes crashing down on top of him. He can't move. He can't breathe-he struggles against the cement blocks pinning him into place but they feel heavier than he remembers.
He calls out for help-someone's gotta be nearby, right? Someone will come help. He tries again, still struggling to try and get free. He hears someone approaching and lets out sigh of relief.
'What did I tell you about shouting like that, Einstein?'
The nightmare doesn't go any further as his eyes snap open and he takes a large gasp of air. Where-he takes in several breaths, just glancing around the cabin.
"Oh god..." He mutters to himself as he starts to realise it was just a nightmare. "Oh god..." He rubs his watering eyes with his hand. "Shit..."

"Sleeping poorly?" she asks, an eyebrow raised.
no subject
"Um.. yeah, actually. Pretty much always." He takes another drink, wondering how long it'll be before he'll even see another can of red bull or monster. "I'm uh Peter, by the way. Peter Parker. Nice to meet you."
no subject
Which means that there's also no one here to have a professional opinion on her issues. Ah well. "Ple Two. Just arrived with the newer group."
no subject
"Yeah, I tried that for-well a few sessions. Didn't really work. Yeah, I haven't met a lot of the newer peeps-I've kinda haven't really been up to talking to anyone. I'm feeling better now though! A little."
no subject
"I'm concerned if this is 'better'." So mark this one down as a liability if things get dangerous, at least for the time being. Even if he also has some kind of unique tool on hand.
...can't be much less useful than an unarmed child like her, as much as it bothers her.

"Ah the train isn't so bad-boring maybe-like really boring-but it's fine. There's usually something to do. Tell Mr Stark if you get bored, he'll give you a list."
no subject
She has to respect that, and how he's willing to get his hands dirty. "There are tasks beyond our assigned chores?"
no subject
"Probably. I haven't really told Mr Stark about being bored recently because every time I do he comes up with like five things I can do instead."
no subject
"I might need to tell him I'm bored, because I might actually find myself that bored."
no subject
"He's either in one of the quiet cars where's decided to put together a lab or in the medical car where he's also taken over as a lab." Peter shrugs. "But he might come up soon, he usually does around this time because it's when I wake up."
no subject
no subject
"Objections to what? You helping Mr Stark? He'd love the help, and I'm not actually allowed in his lab if he's not there-I mean I wasn't back home and I just kinda assumed that carries over to the train as well."

"Actually, when he first got here, the dressing car smelled really strongly of Lavender-which I'm allergic too and had an incident he threatened the conductor over the network and now it smells really good in there. No one wants to cross Iron Man."
no subject
"'Iron Man'. That's some sort of nickname?" Not a bad one, although the armor was apparently titanium so she could totally call him out on that if she wanted to take a dig at him.

She should ask though. "Flight as well, though... what kind of energy source does it have?"
no subject
"He used to use palladium but that was like, really bad and poisons your blood so he synthesized vibranium which is strongest metal on earth and also the most versatile. It's insane what all you can do with vibranium. It's also really rare-or it was-but apparently, this county in Africa, Wakanda has a bunch of the stuff? And they're opened up trades with the rest of the world-which is super cool-I got work with it and it was awesome-in liquid form it like binds to everything."
no subject
Ple Two would like to know more about this 'vibranium' so she can take it home and make really cool giant robots.
"And it seems like it's very versatile." Following Peter's sentences is a trail, though.
