Who: Peter, Conan and Possibly Tony later.
When: Day 21
Where: The Dressing car
What: Peter needs to talk to Conan about a thing. A secret thing.
Peter's read through Haibara's notes a few times and read through two of the three new text books he's gotten and he's come to some pretty alarming conclusions. He knows that Conan-or Shinichi is a pretty cautious guy-which he can respect but there comes a time when you have to get help and Peter is starting to think it's time to bring in an adult.
Of course, since this is Conan's situation and his problem, he's going to ask the other boy because he knows better than to not communicate his thoughts to someone with a secret identity.
So, Conan will find Peter sitting in one of the hammocks that's lower to the ground, reading through one of his three new text books. He also has his laptop open and playing 'smile like you mean it' softly in the background.

"What is it?"

"Uh.. so..." He hits mute on the laptop to offer Conan his complete and total attention. "I've been reading over your friend's notes and doing some independent research and I want to start by telling you-I have a pretty good idea of how the original poison was made-I might be a little off on one or two things so I need to do a little more research. And I can probably start the testing phase soon." He states before moving on from that.
"Uh.. that said. It's not good. I mean-obvious you know that. And reading these notes has me a little concerned about your health, dude. I mean-I get it-you don't want to be stuck uh... like that... but also I'm kinda uh... it's totally up to you, but I've reached the point where I think we need to talk to Mr Stark. We don't have to tell him everything-but I'm concerned about possible health issues, you know? And I think it would be a good idea to at least bring someone in on this so that god-forbid-you get into a situation where you need emergency care-he has a much better idea of how to help you. I mean-like I've said-I can only do so much."

"I know what it does to my health," he says at last. He'd experienced it for himself more than once. "If it means developing a permanent cure, that's something I'm willing to risk."
He could see the reasoning for having someone with medical knowledge in on this. And Tony was probably the best choice. He'd guessed part of the truth already, and he'd kept that secret so far. But... After so long hiding it was difficult to make the decision to open up his secrets to someone else.

"Yeah, I know-or at least the notes would suggest... uh... but hey, I get it-that's one of the reasons I'm doing this-to keep things as controlled as I can and it cannot be healthy to be separated from your identity like that-I mean I'm Spider-Man and Peter Parker-I do the whole secret identity thing back home too, but the difference is that I can still take mine off-you can't and I can't even imagine the damage that does to your mental health." He pauses because he's definitely getting off topic here.
"I'm still committed to helping you-and I'm not gonna stop even if you really, really don't want to bring anyone else in-but for your safety, I'd feel better if I could bring someone in to check over my notes and tests. And it doesn't have to be Mr Stark, I guess, if you don't want but you should know that he has actually sorta worked on something similar? Well.. kinda the complete opposite. Ask him about Extremis sometime-or don't... because I don't know how willing he is about talking to people about that-but it basically involved programed cell growth."

He frowns deeply at that. But he couldn't argue that it would be better to get a second opinion on research like this.
But what finally tips the decision over was the knowledge that so many others here already knew. Peter. Sarai and Dread. Kaito. Nita and Dairine. At this point, he couldn't really argue that letting one more person in on the secret would be that much more dangerous.
"Fine," he finally says aloud. "I'll talk to him."
no subject
"Are you sure? Because I can do that, if it'd be easier for you? And you can tell me the parts you don't want him to know about."
no subject
"This is my story. If I have to bring someone else in, I would rather do it myself.""
no subject
"Hey, this is a good thing, okay? I get it, you're not used to trusting people with this sort of thing but you just have to tell yourself this is good-okay? We're gonna figure this out and we're gonna get you back to how you're supposed to be." He assures, now that he's done a bit of research he really is feeling pretty confident in where to start, at the very least.

Logically, Conan knew that Peter had been working on this for a while, and that there was a chance that science from another world might be able to do what had never been possible in his own. But... he still couldn't find it within himself to believe that this time it would work.
This had been a year of too many disappointments.

"Um... you like logic and scientific facts, right? Would it help at all if I go through the notes with you? Tell you what I've found-the equations I've done and how I think the poison was created and how I'm thinking will be the best way to try and reverse it?"
no subject
"I think this may be the only thing where I'm not sure if I want to know exactly what was done to me."
