Having taken Evie's class and learned how to use the stove, Glorfindel was able to take part in his Team's chores of preparing the meals. Although, technically, that was what some of the more experienced cooks did. Glorfindel was more of a sous chef (chopper of things). Today he was making some quick, portable snacks that people could come and take with them if they wanted to go to the gym or the library or elsewhere on the train.

[What do people want? Come and ask! You might not get what you hope, but it will be interesting!]

He has also made an concerted effort to go through the kitchen and sharpen every blade in the room, except the butter spreaders.

"I agree," Glorfindel said, smiling. "Perhaps that is why Iluvatar put so many sweet things on Arda to be enjoyed?"

"Thank you," he said with a deep bow. "From one as talented as you, I take that as a great compliment!"

"Maybe so!" She laughs.

"Pish." She flaps a hand at him. "Cake decorating is hardly sculpture!"

"Exactly!" Glorfindel said. "You sculpt amazing things! I...draw lines on a cake in a manner pleasing to the eye."

"Tis still an art!" She laughs. "Why, Anarie is an amazing cake sculptor!"

"I don't think I've met them?" Glorfindel said. "My strengths lay elsewhere, I am afraid, not in the arts. Sometimes..." he shakes his head and smiles. "Forgive me, I don't mean to bore you with something so trivial."

"Tis fine." Nerdanel shakes her head with a smile. "We all have our gifts! In truth, I only found out about Anarie because one of my friends recommended her for our wedding. Apparently she has baked for every royal wedding!"

"In Valinor, or did she come to Middle Earth?" Glorfindel asked.

[ooc: Okay! Then I wasn't going crazy, LOL, I was searching high and low for someone by that name!]

"She was one of those who stayed." Nerdanel nods. "Probably why you've never met her! She still serves Arafinwe and Earwen, I believe! We... don't speak much, these days."

Glorfindel was suddenly concerned about who all Nerdanel did speak to these days, but was unsure how to bring it up.

"I...suppose we should let Bucky know his cake is done?"

Answer: Not Many People.

"We should." She admires it and nods. "I will see if he's free - we can leave it here in the ice box until then."

Shall we move onto another thread, perhaps in the current month, then?

"I'll put a note on it so no one else eats it, then," Glorfindel said. He'd taken that lesson to heart when he'd first arrived. It was similar to the rules at Imladris, as well, so it wasn't a difficult rule to follow. He took one of the self inking writing pens and carefully wrote Bucky's name on a piece of paper left out for exactly that reason. "Here."

"Thank you." She smiles, setting it neatly in the fridge to wait for Bucky.
