Event: Abort! Part Two (day 25, Egret). Luggage carriage
They are on world world#27462947582 for about five hours, helping, ushering people out of the city, fighting monsters, keeping guard. All seems well in the city itself, peaceful even except for the slight panic of people being told to move south.
Wherever they are, north in the desert, travelling through the countryside to the south or still in the city itself they will notice from their peripheral vision a darkening of the sky. Looking up they will see clouds. Strange clouds, appearing in the blue sky out of nowhere.
Their SCA’s start beeping, rapidly, flashing red. The clouds are too weird to be clouds, dark shapes in the sky. It might be that the Voidtreckers heed the warning and tap their SCA to evacuate to the train. It might be that they do not.
If they don’t then there is a moment, a moment of absolute stillness as those around them notice the shapes. A confused pause. Children stop their chatter, people stop their complaining, even the monsters seem to sense something and pause in their attacks.
The remaining voidtreckers are yanked away, even without pressing their SCA, they glow gold and disappear.
They all appear in the luggage carriage and not even a second later, with no warning the train lurches, flinging everyone off their feet as it enters the void.
It’s not really easy to tell speed in the void, but they will get the sense that they are moving fast. Faster than before, leaving that world and whatever those shapes were behind.

He couldn't give into the pain and used it to spur himself on. Even if he had other team leaders it didn't matter, he would help anyone and everyone he came across until he collapsed. That was usually what he ended up doing on the Blue missions anyway, especially that last one with all of the villagers.
When the train righted itself finally, the advisor pushed himself up enough to walk, ignoring the pain in his left arm. A quick panicked check revealed that the pink scallop shell he received on the beach hadn't been broken and he stuffed the peacock feather back into his long jacket pocket.
"Bucky!" Ignis called, going over and kneeling before the man on the floor. "Don't move, give me a moment." He pulled out a potion and set to work.

"What the hell happened out there, huh? Is everyone okay?" Everything about this mission seemed wrong, from the timing, to suddenly getting pulled, and now the train felt like it was moving a lot less smoothly.

"The world seems to have been consumed." It was his only explanation at the moment. All he'd known was that he was worried about getting Madoka to safety once their units went off. "It appears everyone made it back aboard safely so you rest right now."
Another potion appeared and he used it on Bucky for good measure.

Never mind that he's a casualty.

Green eyes raked over the soldier and shook his head as the other tried getting up. "We'll need to get that shoulder repaired before you go anywhere." So says someone who isn't taking your shit.

"You've a good heart Mister Barnes." the advisor said with a slight smile. "So let's get that shoulder squared away so you can go play hero to others."

But he didn't reply and moved so that he could help with this whole arm thing. It wasn't instant and of course it would be painful, so as soon as they got it corrected, the strategist gave him another healing potion and spoke quietly.
"Now off you go."
no subject
"Thanks," he replied with an honest smile. "And I promise to behave. Mostly."
no subject
"If you don't, you're going to end up where you began today." Ignis smirked It was good to see the other smile, it seemed it wasn't a common thing.
