Egret 26
Who: Shinichi and Anyone
What: Shinichi makes his entrance on the train. Conan has some explaining to do.
Where: Various Locations
When: Egret 26
Kitchen, Morning
By the time the first interrogation finally finishes, Shinichi was feeling more than a little shaky. The change took a lot out of him, just as always. And this time it had been so unexpected that he'd had no time to prepare.
And so it is that the first thing he does as himself is to fill a plate with food and head out to one of the tables to eat.
Various Locations, Mid Morning
Shinichi had a major problem. Not only had his change been witnessed by far too many people, but he was now stuck here on the train with no way to explain how he had suddenly appeared in the middle of the month, while Conan had disappeared. And with no idea how long he had until he started changing back.
And so he spends much of the morning moving around the cars, trying to avoid anyone he knew well.
He hated this. For the first time in months he was in his real body. He could use his real name and he had his real height back. And he couldn't even enjoy it. It was just more hiding and lying, just in a different way.

Standard Car
Even like this.
"... Offer still stands," she said quietly, pointedly not staring at Shinichi. She kept her eyes to her book.
Trying to focus on what to do next. Which went for many things, not just Conan's problem.
"About the privacy shield."
Kitchen
"So how are you?" she asked, making room and offering him a smile.
no subject
It isn't until she makes room for him that he realizes what had happened. And that he had a decision to make. Allow the mistake to continue, or tell the truth.
But she knew already. He didn't really have a good reason to go along with the mistaken identity.
Setting down his plate on the table, he raises one hand to brush his hair back into order as he sits down.
"I think there's been a slight mix-up."
no subject
"Pray tell, what did I mix up?" she asked, looking up at him curiously. If anything, she's just confused...

Kitchen
“Fetch me down that yogurt,” he orders. It’s on a high shelf in the refrigerator, and he’d always struggled to reach it in the past. “The strawberry one.”
He turns to another high shelf. “And those cornflakes. Oh, and don’t forget the milk.”
Re: Kitchen
"Is putting them in the table low enough for you?"
And he could actually make short jokes now. Joss would probably get revenge later, but for now it was completely worth it.

The boy angrily mashes his cornflakes into a paste. Is this liquid enough for the Doctor?
“It was obvious that you were no mere seven year old. You’re almost as clever as me.”

Shinichi drops into one of the chairs, and sets his coffee on the table.
"I have good reasons for not going around telling everyone, okay. The fewer people who know that Conan Edogawa and Shinichi Kudo are the same person, the safer it is."

The decks are little more than scraps of paper right now with numbers (1-150) and various pokemon-types; she hasn't started writing out the names, yet.
Eva barely glances up before she starts talking.
"Ah- Kuro-" Pause. Another look up, this time with a frown and narrowed eyes, hand already on the pokeball on her belt. "Who are you and don't say Kuroba-kun."

Shinichi starts off by avoiding the question.
no subject
Damnit. If this is related to whatever secrets Kaito's holding- (Not like she actually has room to talk, though, given her own secrets, but details.) "Who are you? We can talk privately if you'd rather?"
no subject
"Talking in private would be better." For the obvious reason, and because it would buy a few more moments to think.

"If you need more food, just let me know. This transformation of yours obviously expends a lot of energy," he said.
[Glorfindel is definitely glowing right now as he is trying to help Shinichi's body cope with the changes.]
Re: Kitchen
"What I had before should be enough for a while." He frowns as he stares down at the coffee.
"I didn't ask before. Why are you glowing? You weren't when we talked before."
Re: Kitchen
"Oh, this?" He waved a hand at the sunlight brightening the room. "Did I not mention that part of being reborn? That I carry the light of the sun within me?"
Re: Kitchen
"If you have the light of the sun inside of you, how are you alive?"

Kitchen
"Hey," she says as she walks up to the table.
"How're you holding up?"
Re: Kitchen
He casts a glance at her.
"You knew exactly what to expect. How did you find out about all of this."
Re: Kitchen
Dairine sips a mug of hot chocolate that she had made while waiting. If she's gonna be staying up even later, warm beverages are a must.
"Perceptive as ever, I see," she says as she puts the mug down. "The place that we met before... You might not believe it, but you changed back to your regular age more than once. Usually it was due to the castle's interference, but one time you made a mistake when you had a cold."

"How many people found out there?"

Kitchen - morning
More asleep than awake she grabbed some random food and drifted to the seating area, sitting across from him and dumping what she grabbed on the table. Some of it was eatable as is, some of it was but who would want to. Some of it... she was too asleep to realize was raw.
Yawning again she grabbed an onion and was about to take a bite of it as if it were an apple.
Re: Kitchen - morning
Re: Kitchen - morning (Sadly, my grandfather actually ate them this way.)
LOL, I think I've heard of that being a thing? But I've never known anyone who actually did it.
ROFL. Also... never seen Naja with coffee... so I guess I get to have some fun with this
