Who: Conan and Various
Where: Various
When: Apple Day 18-22
What: Conan getting up to things
Sleeper One, Cabin B, Day 18:
Conan spends most of the first night staring blankly up at the bunk above him. What little sleep he does get is disturbed by nightmares.
Rationally, he knew that no one here had ever heard of Shinichi Kudo or had any idea of why the name was important. Even if he reclaimed his name here, the chances were very low that the news would spread back to the media in his world, let alone the organization. The very fact that someone had been able to discover the truth behind his identity disturbed him, but no further threat from that angle had appeared so far.
But for the past year he had lived with the knowledge that the only thing protecting him from the organization was the fact that no one would guess that the child Conan Edogawa and the same person as Shinichi Kudo. There were even rumors that Shinichi Kudo was dead. Having that name attached to him here, without even the slim protection of his glasses as a disguise? He couldn't help but feel like he had attached an even larger target to himself.
By morning his rising paranoia has crystallized into a decision. He couldn't do anything about the name on his ticket or on the roster. But he could at least prevent himself from literally wearing it. A quick trip to the kitchen rewards him with a pair of scissors. He checks to make sure no one else was in the cabin, then pulls out his rucksack and starts carefully cutting the threads that kept each name tag attached to his clothes.
Kitchen, Team Orange:
At least chores like this were something familiar. He couldn't reach the kitchen counter by himself, but the floor was easy enough to sweep.
Gym Car:
Conan eventually finds his way to the gym car, where he occupies himself by kicking a soccerball against the wall in increasingly complicated ways. If there was one good thing about the shape of the car, it was the challenge it presented in finding ways to ricochet the ball off the walls.

She has stepped further into the room now, interested in seeing this skill of his.

"That do be being so... cool!" She borrowed a Peter word. "How did you be doing that?"

"Can you be teaching me?" A pause and then, "I can be teaching you something in return if you do be wanting." Because nothing was free and she didn't want to be in anyone's debt, not even a little kid.

"I don't know. What kinds of things do you know how to do?"
no subject
What can she teach? She has lots of skills but many are not ones she can teach, not on this train full of self styled heroes of light and goodness anyways.
"I can be fighting, I can be teaching you that. Or climbing but I do be thinking you do already be knowing how to be doing that." He's a little kid, she's never met a kid who stayed on the ground any longer than necessary.

It would be something new, at least. Even if it wasn't really something that had ever interested him before.

Since they are here and the ball is here, she guesses it's his turn to teach first.
"So how do you be calculating the angle?"
no subject
"How much math do you know already? Do you know anything about geometry?"

Annoyingly. Especially since she's furious at Peter right now. She wished she could have proven him wrong and showed that she wasn't stupid after all.
