Cooking With Gladio
Who: Gladio and OPEN
What: Gladio cooks. ^^ Come by and eat his food, it's not half bad!
Where: Kitchen, mainly.
When: Fiddlesticks day 8. Afternoonish.
While he may not have been a fancy cook or professional in any way, Gladio wasn't a slouch in the kitchen. He knew his way around and he could rustle something up in a pinch if he needed to. So that's how he ended up in the kitchen with Noct teaching him how to make a simple spaghetti and sauce meal. Though he did go a little adventurous and make meatballs for it as well.
It was strange to make something for so many people though. He normally had a hard time gauging amounts and would often make too much of a thing. Now they were deliberately doing that to make sure that everyone on the train had a chance to eat (and seconds, if they wanted!)
With the train rocking as it was, once the HUGE pan of spaghetti was made, Gladio kept it in the kitchen where it was safe. He had bowls ready. When the guys got hungry, he would be ready.
In the meantime... he decided to make cupcakes as well.

"You should try the shop. It'll probably be like twenty-five points though."

But Misa soon brought his smile back with just how incredulous she was over his only coming from single planet. "Eos. Just Eos. Coming here's the first time I've ever been to a whole new planet before."

"It's just how it is. We grow our own things, trade between different places on our own world. It's like what you describe, only condensed. I get it probably seems strange to you though."

She turns back to her food. "But, I guess, that's what this train is teaching us?"

She frowns. "Cantonica is mostly desert. About a hundred years ago, they made an ocean, though."

"But my world was beautiful. It had everything. Deserts, snow, wide open plains, mountains and volcanoes and sparkling, crystal clear seas..." Oh yes, Gladio missed Eos so very much. But he knew one day he would see it again.

"Is snow really fluffy? Is it cold? Does it do anything? I mean, I've never been in snow, except for my first mission and that was ice, not snow, so I don't know anything about it."

"Fresh snow is fluffy. It's really cold. But it can be... moulded, I guess? You can pack the snow and make things with it. Usually snowmen!" He laughed. "Or snow balls. Used to have snowball battles with my little sister during the winter. They don't hurt, just hit you and explode in a shower of powdered snow. But it's a lot of fun.
You've really not seen snow?" That seemed like such a shame. Every kid should have a snow day, Gladio thought.
