Cooking With Gladio
Who: Gladio and OPEN
What: Gladio cooks. ^^ Come by and eat his food, it's not half bad!
Where: Kitchen, mainly.
When: Fiddlesticks day 8. Afternoonish.
While he may not have been a fancy cook or professional in any way, Gladio wasn't a slouch in the kitchen. He knew his way around and he could rustle something up in a pinch if he needed to. So that's how he ended up in the kitchen with Noct teaching him how to make a simple spaghetti and sauce meal. Though he did go a little adventurous and make meatballs for it as well.
It was strange to make something for so many people though. He normally had a hard time gauging amounts and would often make too much of a thing. Now they were deliberately doing that to make sure that everyone on the train had a chance to eat (and seconds, if they wanted!)
With the train rocking as it was, once the HUGE pan of spaghetti was made, Gladio kept it in the kitchen where it was safe. He had bowls ready. When the guys got hungry, he would be ready.
In the meantime... he decided to make cupcakes as well.

Making cupcakes!
"What flavor are we going to make?"

"What would you like?" Gladio asked as he started gathering the basic ingredients they'd need. "What's your taste buds craving for right now?"

"Excuse me? I heard there was a meal of some sort?"
no subject
"Yeah, come on in. Hope spaghetti and meatballs are do your liking?" Or just normal spaghetti. There was a large pan of it without, just in case.
no subject
"I'm not sure I've ever-" she looks around, eyes settling on the pan. "Ah. That would be spaghetti?"

The kitchen seemed like one of the better places to be as there was lots he could do here.
"Even if it's something small."

"And maybe, if you're still interested in helping, washing up after everyone's finished?" He didn't really want to, but since the kid had asked and he knew he wouldn't unless he really wanted something to do, this seemed the better option. "I wash and you dry?"
no subject
"Sure, I can do that." He said with a smile before going to grab a towel that was needed. "I assume you have been doing the cooking as a way to be helpful right?"

Humming to herself, she starts folding the towels, and wash cloths that she's been using to clean things with and puts them in their proper place.
"Do you need any help?" She asks, still folding laundry.
no subject
"Are you hungry? There's plenty of food." He put the pan on the side to drip dry and grabbed a cloth to dry his hands on. "Are you interested in cooking?"

This was certainly a new experience. But he happened upon his bunkmate making food in the kitchen. He heard that he was going to be making it for many others, which was very nice.
"Is there anything I can help with?"
no subject
He smiled at Quatre as he put away the pants and utensils he and Noct had used.

He looked at the two pans of spaghetti before deciding to try some from the tray without meatballs.
"You must really like to cook."

She pokes her head into the kitchen with her eyes closed, just enjoying the scent -- only to flash immediately somewhere between amused and embarrassed when she opens them and realizes someone's in there already. "Sorry! It smells wonderful."
no subject
"Help yourself." After all, he and Noct had made it for everyone on the train. It needed to be eaten, not just smelled. And even if he did say so himself, it wasn't too bad!

"Smells like someone's busy."

"Just making myself useful." Gladio replied as he stacked the bowls. "Come try some. Have you eaten today?"
no subject
"I don't recall," was his reply. He forced himself to stand, inclining his head. He started to follow his nose, tired but...oh. His stomach growled, betraying him.
"Maybe not."

Spotting someone she hadn't had a chance to talk to yet she approached them. "Hi, I'm May Parker. I heard you were cooking? It smells amazing. Do you mind if I have some?" she asked curiously.
no subject
"Help yourself. There's enough to go around." He paused and then laughed. "Probably enough for seconds and thirds honestly."
no subject
He gave a knock on the door before he entered.
"Hey, anyone in here? I've food if you're hungry?" Gladio called and stepped inside with the tray.
no subject
Now however, she was determined to eat. And then get back out there. She was bundled up in blankets, trying to free her arms so she could feed herself.
