Cooking With Gladio

Who: Gladio and OPEN
What: Gladio cooks. ^^ Come by and eat his food, it's not half bad!
Where: Kitchen, mainly.
When: Fiddlesticks day 8. Afternoonish.


While he may not have been a fancy cook or professional in any way, Gladio wasn't a slouch in the kitchen. He knew his way around and he could rustle something up in a pinch if he needed to. So that's how he ended up in the kitchen with Noct teaching him how to make a simple spaghetti and sauce meal. Though he did go a little adventurous and make meatballs for it as well.

It was strange to make something for so many people though. He normally had a hard time gauging amounts and would often make too much of a thing. Now they were deliberately doing that to make sure that everyone on the train had a chance to eat (and seconds, if they wanted!)

With the train rocking as it was, once the HUGE pan of spaghetti was made, Gladio kept it in the kitchen where it was safe. He had bowls ready. When the guys got hungry, he would be ready.

In the meantime... he decided to make cupcakes as well.

He took it happily and started to dry. He could understand it being hard to sleep through the way the train was at the moment, but it made him wonder if there could be ways around that. But right now nothing seemed to come to mind.

"I mean nothing has gone wrong at least and there is a lot less fighting this time on this mission anyway. I can't really say about the others."

"I'm not sure, really wish I did though." Of all the magical things the train could do, why it didn't have something on the ICP's giving them updated news on what was going on with the teams was a stupid mistake on it's part.

"i wish it did to, just so those who might have friends or loved ones on other missions could easily check up on then when they are able to." it would seem logical at least to do something like that, but he didn't quite understand why that wasn't the case.

"Maybe one day it will? Or if we complain loud enough it'll add a little update system." It didn't need to be reams and reams of information. Just a general 'This team is alive and well' would make him feel better.

"Maybe if we keep complaining every mission it might work. I like to think someday there will be a method just so we can know that people are okay" Because sometimes Yugi wondered if maybe he should try going on a mission that's different from the ones Orange usually goes on. But then he would always worry about the friends he made on Orange team, even though he knew they were the least likely to get hurt.
