Open (Introductions Time)
Who: Conan, Ran, close CR, anyone
What: Conan's life just got more complicated again. And he has someone he needs to introduce.
Where: Throughout the Train
When: Fiddlesticks Days 13-14-15
The mission had worked as a distraction, but after finally returning to the train Conan had realized that he had some decisions to make. Ran was here, and only knew him as Conan. There were others here... People who had supported him as Conan, and had seen him change to Shinichi or had learned his secret in other ways. But none of them knew the full story, or why he had kept his secrets from Ran all this time.
Apart from all of this, he needed to introduce Ran to the people on the train he knew could be trusted. He needed to warn the people in the know that they needed to keep the secret. (He wanted to tell Ran the truth, more than anything. But not now. Not like this. Not until he could tell her the truth while wearing his own face and name.)
And so, the day after returning from the mission, Conan made his plans. He sought out Ran, keeping close beside her. And over the next few days he introduces her to the people he knew on the train. He tries to strike a balance between the childish behavior Ran had come to expect from him, and the more adult-like attitude he had adopted on the train. (He is not always successful.) And to those who know the secret, he carefully phrases his words to warn them not to say anything to Ran.

Aren't they about the same age? They look like they are.

"Oh, sorry. I meant Miss." He quickly amends. He glances down at Conan and thankfully or maybe not, catches the hint. "Oh. Oh! Yeah, hi! I'm Peter-Peter Parker. Also Spider-Man hence the uh..." He gestures to the hammock. "Anyways, yeah-nice to meet you. Conan's a great kid-really well behaved and uh stuff." He nods just as realizes how unconvincing that all sounds.

"Peter helped me out a few times here," Conan says brightly as he hopes that Ran doesn't think to dig any further. He was sure that she wouldn't be pleased to hear about certain incidents here.

Even though she's certainly been wrong about many things at this point -- or the impossible has existed.
"Thank you for helping Conan-kun." She doesn't appear to caught onto the root of the awkwardness. Peter seems to have his own awkward energy, spilling out in all directions. Anything further can just connect back to that. "What happened?"
The question is full innocence; on her side, it's just conversation rather than suspicion and fully unaware that it has the potential to cause more flailing.
Her eyes slip to the hammock, too. Is that . . . ". . . Spider Man?"
Please, please tell her he doesn't turn into a giant spider.

"You know, I help so many people on a regular basis it all just kinda runs together. Besides, I think it'd be more accurate to say he's helped me a few times." He flashes a smile.
"Oh, yeah-see uh-when I was fourteen-'cause I'm sixteen now-I got bit by a radioactive spider and now I have spider powers. Yes, it hurt. I don't actually recommend getting bit by radio active spider. And no, I can't summon an army of spiders-which I'm kinda glad for 'cause knowing my luck I'd do it by accident and uh... yeesh."

Conan blinks up at both of them, carefully innocent.
"Peter-niichan has been watching out for me here. He even came to visit me when I had a cold."
It was fortunate that she didn't know just how trouble-prone Peter was.

Luckily for Conan's anxiety, she's pretty distracted by this. And nothing seems too out of the ordinary otherwise. Peter's awkward covers a lot.
