It's rough, working through the chaos of the new arrivals, but Kaiba manages somehow. He disappears for a little while after the platform greetings, there's the scent of barbecue coming from the kitchens...and when he's done, he rushes to change into his single nice outfit (scarf, sleek tunic, and dress slacks) and knocks on Yugi's door.

"Come with me," he says, without further explanation.

Wait, how was he supposed to eat this? He pouted a little as he watched Yugi, and...oh. All right. He could copy that. He nibbled away, looking a little flustered as he did so.

Eventually he stopped to drink the iced tea he'd set out for them, and gave Yugi a look. "The train's really picking up the pace with drafting people. It's getting tight. There's a lot to dislike about it."

He pauses, smiles, and reaches across the table for Yugi's hand. "But not this. You're the best thing about this place."

Yugi had taken another bite before setting it down for thew moment, pausing mid sip of his drink. "The numbers were pretty high and Yugi didn't know just how much alone time anyone could really have without really planning it out. But it made the moments that were private a little better since it meant the other was able to be comfortable.

taking the sip he finally put the drink down before giving off a slight hint of pink on his face. "Same to you," he said before moving his hand to hold the others firmly "Though I am sure a couple of weeks ago we probably wouldn't have been thinking that. But now, we can at least make the most of our time together when possible, both hanging out and stuff like this."

"If we were home, I'd be able to do much more..." he sighed. "It'd have to be planned with our fame, but I'd show you everything I had to offer."

He finally finished his meal and wiped his face, pleased. "Want to join me for a movie? I don't think the newcomers are crowding in there yet."

"If we were home we would be able to do more and more privately too." It was a thought that made him smile for a moment, before finishing what he had left "I kind of forget sometimes that I'm actually well known back home. But I guess that was because I don't really focus on it." Mostly because in his mind he already knew what he wanted to do in life and that was his Grandfathers shop and creating a fun game.

Once he had finished he nodded "Sure and I am sure they aren't. They will probably be tired and might just go to bed. But that does mean we need to think about what kind of movie to watch."

"I'll keep planning for that future," Kaiba said. He worried a little, about what would happen if one of them left without the other...but forced himself to focus.

He smiled a little. "Up for a horror movie? I heard Silence Without was...decent."

He nodded slightly before the subject of the movie made Yugi focus a bit more.

"I think I can handle one. I mean after all the stuff I've handled a horror movie shouldn't be that bad." Though odds were if it wasn't something he was expecting that would be a whole different matter, but it also gave Yugi a moment to tease for a change.

"Are you hoping I get scared so I get close, hm?"

Already, Yugi knows him too well. His face flushes a little as he moves to clean the table.

"Maybe I just want to be close to you where the others won't bother us."

He smiled slightly, moving to stand up and help if he would let him anyway.

"We'll be close to one another no matter what, okay."

"...and I wouldn't have it any other way."

Kaiba smiles as he finishes cleaning and leads the way to the cinema, making a selection before choosing a perfect seat. The pre-roll starts and he looks hopefully at Yugi, pushing the seat arm up.

"Is this all right?"

He smiled, following close beside him the whole time until making his way to the seat.

Looking over he was checking what the other was doing before his smile got a little bit wider.

"That is perfect," he answered moving in close enough that he could lean on the other, his eyes soon looking at the screen.

Perfect. Kaiba reached out to lay his hand over Yugi's as the story began. A space station...decrepit, and humans are fragile out there. Death creeps closer and closer, and while he likes to pretend he's unflappable in the face of fiction, he finds himself gripping Yugi's hand, jaw locked.

"Ugh...idiots, don't---"

He flinches as the wrong switch is flipped and another dies.

Yugi had to question some of the choices those people seemed to be making, at least one instance the choice that leads to death, but it was one that caused the young man to grip the hand back.

At one point Yugi even buried his head on the other, little too much blood for even him to handle really. "Why.. Just...Why" he muttered to himself, head still buried for the moment "Have we changed scenes?"

Kaiba turned to Yugi when he felt his face press against his arm, and he shifted closer, wrapping a protective arm around him. It was rather gruesome...there was scream, and then a few minutes of dead silence.

"It should be almost over..."

And then there was another alarm, another disturbing sound, and he curled around Yugi to shield him. "Too soon. Almost...okay. There."

He eased up on Yugi a little. "Better?"

When it seemed to be okay, Yugi finally managed to peak out. For all the courage he had learned off Atem didn't really prepare for him to experience that of all things. But Yugi also put it down to the fact that the scene was just quite bloody and no one really can tolerate that much blood.

"...Better" He finally spoke face no longer buried. The scene in front of them seemed to be a breather at least for the moment.

"I guess those that are left will be the survivors in the very end."

"If they're lucky."

Kaiba braced himself for another disaster...and there was an ominous sound, then silence. The end.

He squeezed Yugi one more time, laughing nervously. "At least we didn't watch that before the space station mission."

Yugi couldn't help but laugh slightly in a more awkward and nervous manner than usual.

"I don't think I would have left the train if we had, so I guess that is a positive." Though for all they knew horror elements on a mission could always happen in the future.

"But hey at least it's over, right?"

"Mm."

Kaiba thinks about it a moment longer, then leans in to give Yugi a kiss.

"Happy birthday. Sorry I scared you."

He lightly kissed back for a moment.

"That is the point of a horror film, so it's fine. Plus we got to spend some time together alone. So it's worth it."

"I'll let you pick next time," Kaiba promises, snuggling a little closer while they still have the darkness as an excuse.

"And as far as a more permanent gift...I'm still working on something truly worthy of you. Parts are at a premium around here. But I wanted to show you this."

He reaches around his neck and opens his locket. The familiar picture of Mokuba is still there where it always was, but on the other side is the picture he'd received from Prompto a while back. It's the two of them at the first party they'd attended together, wearing the silly onesies.

"Okay, though I'm not sure you'd like the genre I might watch." Though he also knows it might not be all that predictable as to what he does watch anyway. He rather liked the idea of him guessing and it being a surprise more than anything.

Yugi made himself a little more comfortable back to leaning on him, wondering what he meant by a more permanent gist, but as he rested his head against the other and looked at him getting gout his locket he couldn't help but wonder what this was about.

That was until he saw the locket and curious as to where this was going. Once he realised he couldn't help but chuckle "I remember that party"

"You should, it wasn't even two months ago...but my outlook's changed so much, just in getting to know you for the first time."

Kaiba laughs again, curling his arm around Yugi and enjoying this moment. It's almost perfect...there's just one more thing he has to do.

"...hey, Yugi. I have one more thing to ask you."

"That's right...We've been here for nearly two months now. You have changed quite a bit in such a short amount of time." It made Yugi pause for a moment to think over if he had really changed all that much beyond the realization of one's romantic interests being vastly different than what Yugi had expected.

Leaning on him, he was admittedly content to just sit here for a little while longer.

"What is it you want to ask?" He asked curiously as if he was trying to figure out what the other needed or wanted to ask, but nothing springing to mind right off the bat. All he knew was it couldn't be a bad thing, right?

"If we're this close..."

He curls closer, not minding it at all. What he's about to say is a little nerve wracking, but he meets Yugi's eyes.

"Shouldn't I be Seto to you?"

He looked at the other for a moment, wondering just what the other was going to say and when he did he found himself silent.

At least for a brief moment or two.

"I... guess so. I mean, we're dating and all so it's odd to keep calling you by your last night, right?" He was now wondering why this thought hadn't actually come to the frontline before now. Maybe it was because he is just used to calling him by his last name after all this time.

He also seemed to be thinking a little too much about this. "But that's only if that is what you want..."

Seto could feel his heart pounding. It was strange...it was a simple change, but a big one.

"It is. You're one of the most important people in my life," he whispered, touching the locket. "The Kaiba name wields the weight of my company, it's my public image. But you saw past that. You always treated me as an equal, just another human. I lashed out at you before because I resented that..."

He shook his head and smiled. "You've always seen the best in people. I used to think it was ridiculous, but I'm grateful now."

He could feel his face going slightly red at being called one of the most important people. It was nice to be called that.

"Do you know why I try and see the best in people?" he asked looking at him, shifting himself slightly so that he was at least comfortable. "It's because everyone has some good in them. Everyone has that potential for that." He had a certain person in mind when he said those words or at least a couple of people.

"I guess it's also why I ended up falling for you here, because you have shown what you were capable of and I admire that."
