Who: Xue Yang and Anyone
Where: Kitchen
When: Fiddlesticks Day 17
What: Attempting at cooking? Yeah that is it...Feel free to stumble upon his attempts.
Warnings: It's Xue Yang..so there could be talk or actual violence
Xue Yang has some business to take care of in the kitchen. He doesn't know how to cook and he doesn't particularly care if what he is cooking actually turns out. He has made sure to pick a time when it would be quiet, before anyone wants to begin working on anything for breakfast. He had some activities last night that now require the destruction of anything that might tie him to that activity.
The item in question is already laid out in the bottom of the oven, the temperature set at 425 degrees because that just seemed like a decent place to set it. And to make sure things don't seem suspicious in the least, a pan full of uncooked bacon has also been set in the oven. He doesn't know if that's how you actually cook bacon but at least the smell of that cooking might mask the scent of something else burning.
He rummages around until he finds something that he can snack on while he waits for a certain item to no long exist. As he is doing that he notices the smoke that is escaping from around the edges of the oven door. That's either a good sign..or a bad sign. And he's not too worried so he's not going to open that oven until he is sure that the item inside is certainly nothing but ash. At least the room is smelling like bacon so part of the plan is working.
He finds some carrot sticks and munches on them as he waits.

"I think I'll give it a few more minutes. I prefer things to be more crispy."
Not really. he doesn't fully intend to eat the bacon and will most likely just leave it out should anyone actually like fairly blackened bacon.

He grabbed the cookie jar and stepped away from the guy... Was he deliberately being creepy?
"Right... Well if you don't want a bunch of people stampeding in here. Might wanna skip the charcoal." Maru turned and plopped himself down on the ground, legs crossed and took a cookie from the jar.

"I imagine there will be people in here hunting food soon enough anyway. You came looking so that must mean the time to eat is soon."

"... Just wanted a snack. Don't know if anyone else will want one as well. Usually Pompadour will come and cook. Or the other guy. Someone'll show up to cook before people come in to eat." And he didn't think that was going to happen soon, but Maru could be wrong. Time was weird on the train, he was finding. There were no clocks. No sun or moon. No night and day. It was weird.

"I can't guarantee it will be good but at least there will be bacon."

"Think most are fed up with bacon now. Especially charcoal bacon. Crispy is good. I think yours should be binned." It was a waste but even he wouldn't touch the stuff this guys was cooking, and for a vampire, he really wasn't too fussy on what he ate.

"Maybe someone can still use it as a additive to something else." Something to mask the taste of burnt. He finds a mitt and pulls the pan out and sets it down.

"Just so you're aware." Maru shrugged and grabbed another cookie. It didn't bother him much, he supposed people looked at him and thought he was weird as well. People couldn't help how they were made.

"What team are you on?" He asked suddenly, looking up from his cookie.
no subject
"It's a decent team from what I can tell." He's only been on one trip to help out the team so far.

"All the teams are, I think." He yawned and rubbed at one of his eyes tiredly. "I like blue team." Even though he was on orange, not that it could be readily identified now, since he had his blue jacket back.

He hasn't paid that much attention to the other teams, nor who is on them. He figures that not everyone is cut out to fight though so there has to be some sort of passive group.

Xue Yang doesn't have much patience for lazy people. He much prefers action.

"Maybe you can..." Maru reached for a cookie and took a bite, slowly chewing before he continued. "I'm the Servamp of Sloth. I do what I'm told and my Eve wants to protect people. So I fight. Maybe sleeping'd be better. But I'm good at fighting too." And anyway, it was just because of the way he was created. Being the personification of the sin of sloth really didn't do much for him.

"Regardless, you no longer have to deal with me seeing how my kitchen duties are over.

"Perhaps I'll see your fighting skills at work in a future mission." Because now he's curious what such a lazy type individual could be capable of.
