Party Time

Who: Everyone who wants to attend.
What: It's a party for all, but the pairing up part is for singles only.
When: Day 19 of Fiddlesticks
Where: Gym Carriage
Warnings: Who knows atm just Minako being Minako will add more as things happen.

[Minako figured she did the best she could for the party. Though she also wondered if perhaps she might not have that many people come. Sure she wanted to put singles together, but at the same time, she simply wanted people to have fun.

In the dressing carriage, people will find costumes and masks that were more gothic in nature. There was food and hopefully some forms of sweet treats for those looking for it as well as a variety of drink, mostly non-alcoholic.]

[ She gives the solid black lump a cautious prod with her fork. A huge chunk of it flakes off and falls to the plate and Bryn pulls a face. ]

It's... hideous. Maybe it'd be better to throw it away before anyone else can try and eat it...

Oh, I'd be the worst person to ask for that! [ She titters to herself. ] We really don't use slang like that at all where I come from, so I'm not sure what would be outdated and what would be current...

[ She taps her chin thoughtfully. ]

But I suppose you could always just pretend that whatever slang you use is up to date where you're from!

Alice opens her (now tiny) mouth, and for a moment it looks like she's about to shoot down that idea too. But then she slowly seems to realise something and her shoulders sag in something between defeat and acceptance.

"Perhaps just take me right outside of the carriage for a moment. I might be able to grow myself back to my regular size." And outside of the party is a better place to attempt that than in here, where she's very likely to be trambled once she's on the ground if she doesn't pay close attention to everyone's feet.

"All right, here we go." She walked slowly and carefully, doing her best not to knock off her new friend.

"Name's Della Duck. I just arrived here a little while ago. You looked a little familiar, that's I headed on over."

Ah, well.. [ Madoka almost says she's not here to date either, but.. well, that wouldn't necessarily be true, now would it. Except that she's not here to find a date like the people Minako set up as much as she's here to have a date. By dancing with her girlfriend.

But it still doesn't feel right to just leave Mami on the sidelines by herself. Especially not when she's working this hard for everyone. ]

It does, but it's fun too.. [ Madoka gathers her courage, smiling at the other girl. ] Even if you're not here, you should try it out. Won't you dance with me?

Pretty good, I think. Still trying to figure out where everything is, but I think I'm getting the hang of it.

[ She takes a bite from one of the sandwiches. ]

Crowley normally wouldn't be so eager to party so quickly after being transported into another plane of existence, but the beauty of the situation was that the demon had been trapped for so long in such a miserable place that the train was quite an improvement. Why not use it as an excuse to dress up? They had taken stock of the dressing car and not quite found anything to their liking, instead leaning on their newly-restored powers once again to manifest themselves the proper attire. Crowley always had an air for drama, of course, and what better excuse to flaunt it than a masquerade?

The gown was by no means a ball down, but was flattering to their slender frame, and the mask chosen was one that again went a bit against the norm but neatly covered their serpent eyes. Crowley could be found in the dressing car adjusting the look, ensuring every piece was in place before moving along to the party proper.

At the party, Crowley was most interested of all in any alcoholic beverages available, tasting assortments of drinks until finding one that fit their tastes. They weren't interested in the food and didn't need to be, but knowing it was available would be enough for Crowley to convince Aziraphale to join them at any point in the evening.

By no means would Crowley say they were in love with the playlist, but the energy of the room was enough for them to enjoy themselves regardless.

[ It probably didn't make much difference whether people were wearing masks or not, since most people were distinctive in some way. Nobody could have mistaken Curufin for anyone else. Though it was true that Yugi with his spiky golden hair was particularlydistinctive. ]

I just thought I'd contribute something instead of just dancing up a storm. [ Grin, and then a look of uncertainty. ] Ah. . . good question, what is this? [ He looks closely at the blob. ] Jeez! Is it still alive???

[ He pretends to shrink away in terror. ]

[ Curufin turns and sees Glorfindel dancing near him and approaches nearer so he can dance and talk at the same time.]

You're looking very fine this evening, Glorfindel! Nice party, eh?

"We're not having that discussion again." Yuki smiled, recalling their first conversation on the train. It was fun to recall it though as Inigo and he moved out onto the dance floor properly. And thinking on it now, a question came to his own mind but he felt too shy to ask it.

So he took up his position and began to dance with his warrior, feeling more at ease here now with having learned to dance the last time they were like this. And thinking on that made him blush and try not to look at his handsome boyfriend. That blush only increased as he found the words to throw back.

"Haunting me forever almost sounds like something you'd say if you married me."

And no he's totally not looking at you now Inigo.

Mm. ...might want to warn Peter.

[ She thinks she remembers? Cinnamon and spiders not mixing? Something like that? ]

Her hair curls over her shoulder and she brushes it back with a vague embarrassment. But taking her advice, she breathes in and out.

"You're right, I'm being silly. I don't usually act like this.." One more breath and she changes the subject.

"So--your boys? Has it been long since you've seen them?"

[ But Ple Two just muttered that, to avoid hurting any feelings. ]

It's still... quite nice of her.

This little part, yes. Minako tried hard, but she was so busy she couldn't really juggle everything. So I helped her out.

"It is, I'm impressed they were able to get all this together." Trowa smiled at Quatre, enjoying the warmth of the blond at his side. "Would you like to dance?"

[ He laughs, pulling Yugi close as soon as he sits. Still getting used to this, but he likes it. ]

Well your roommates tend to chase you out until you end up with me...and I've seen people take over the small booths in the main car. We could try that.

[ Telli had chosen the dress with the most dramatic back that she could find and a matching mask before she joined the party.

She didn't believe she'd interacted with the girl throwing the party, but she wasn't about to pass up an opportunity to dress up, so here she was. She didn't know exactly why the party was being thrown either, not that the lack of knowledge affected her, and she nodded at her fellow passengers as she passed them. ]

When everyone else went for the dressing carriage, Prompto decided he already had something that would work thanks to Duo. Slipping into the bright blue and gold outfit, he then realized he did actually have to go get a mask. It was looking for this that made him late to the party. However, he thought he'd found the perfect mask.

Spotting Gladio against the wall, he came over and joined the large man. "I love the outfit!"
