Party Time
Who: Everyone who wants to attend.
What: It's a party for all, but the pairing up part is for singles only.
When: Day 19 of Fiddlesticks
Where: Gym Carriage
Warnings: Who knows atm just Minako being Minako will add more as things happen.
[Minako figured she did the best she could for the party. Though she also wondered if perhaps she might not have that many people come. Sure she wanted to put singles together, but at the same time, she simply wanted people to have fun.
In the dressing carriage, people will find costumes and masks that were more gothic in nature. There was food and hopefully some forms of sweet treats for those looking for it as well as a variety of drink, mostly non-alcoholic.]
OOC: Examples of the type of outfits and such can be found here: costumes and
masks]

OTA and fashionably late.
The gown was by no means a ball down, but was flattering to their slender frame, and the mask chosen was one that again went a bit against the norm but neatly covered their serpent eyes. Crowley could be found in the dressing car adjusting the look, ensuring every piece was in place before moving along to the party proper.
At the party, Crowley was most interested of all in any alcoholic beverages available, tasting assortments of drinks until finding one that fit their tastes. They weren't interested in the food and didn't need to be, but knowing it was available would be enough for Crowley to convince Aziraphale to join them at any point in the evening.
By no means would Crowley say they were in love with the playlist, but the energy of the room was enough for them to enjoy themselves regardless.
[OOC: Feel free to find Crowley at any point in the evening. They will be fairly approachable given the situation.]
merp
He was delighted to find out about the theme for this function, and happily took the excuse to indulge in his outfit a bit. A tad. He figures the party won't be much of a formal affair, and certainly not one where this kind of fashion is required or even apt, but it is a masquerade.
He waits, then, at the end of the medical coach, by one of the corridor windows, watching those bright colors swirling outside the train. If he remembers correctly, it shouldn't take long until they give way to the endless darkness for the evening. His arms are crossed behind his back, mask held in one of his hands.
Re: merp
"Evening, angel." they smirk, giving Aziraphale a once-over in his chosen attire. Crowley couldn't hide their smile, the frills reminding them of a certain incident in revolutionary France.
"You look lovely."
no subject
"And you look stunning, my dear." He responds, noting the little red floral accents on their dress. "I believe the party's already underway."
no subject
"Suppose we should head in then. Find something to drink."
no subject
Speaking of masks, the angel holds up his own, a more solid piece, apparently meant to be held in place by a light colored cloth attached to either side. "Before we go in - could give me a hand with this, dear?"
no subject
Crowley waits for Aziraphale to place it where he likes, taking the ribbons into their hands and securing the mask behind his head in a bow, taking care to smooth his hair back behind it nicely. Once secured, Crowley completes their circle, arriving at the angel's left side, their usual placement.
"It's perfect. Shall we?"
no subject
He adjusts his vest and coat, smoothed out his cravat. "Right." He smiles up at Crowley and, in a show of his excellent gentlemany politeness, offers them his arm. "Off we go then."
no subject
Crowley takes the angel's arm without further hesitation, clutching it gently as they make their way into the next car.

She was still very proud of the dress and mask she'd found and how well they complimented her skin tone, so she ensured she was posed in such a way that her figure was shown off to perfection.

"Is it alcoholic? Seems a lot of this isn't..." they asked, ready to snag their own glass if Telli had a good review.
Sorry this took forever, RL got crazy
"If I get dragged into that chaos however, I thing I'll need to find an entire bottle of liquor."
rl be like that sometimes
"I would hope it's voluntary." they reply, beginning to lift drinks to their nose to sniff. Whatever seems most alcohol-worthy will be given a quick water-to-wine miracle, at this point.

"Some of the other passengers here tend to think I'm in love with my friend from home and, while it's amusing for me to tease him about it, I find that I'm quickly growing tired of the assumptions." She rolled her eyes as she continued, "It wouldn't surprise me if someone put our names together while trying to be 'helpful'."
no subject
"Not so bad if they do. So then you have a dance with a friend, sounds fun enough." they reply, thinking they found a worthy bottle and giving it a good tap with one finger. "Ah-- here we go. Something proper to drink. You must have missed one."
She didn't, it was just miraculously alcoholic now. Either way, Crowley holds the bottle out for her in case she's interested.
no subject
"If you don't mind sharing I'd love some." Telli practically threw down the glass in her hand in order to grab a fresh one.
"I'm Telli by the way. I don't believe we've met?"
no subject
The demon also sought out a glass, their eyes wandering over the room behind the lace tied over them. "I must admit, this party feels a bit juvenile for my tastes, but I couldn't turn down a bit of fun, yeah?"
no subject
Well.
Okay, maybe she'd gotten a little complacent, just eating anything anyone handed her, but months without a serious attempt on her life, and being basically hand-fed like a spoiled poodle...
Hic.
Anyway! The important thing was she'd gotten back to the dressing car without accidentally teleporting herself into the Void, and was lying half-draped out of her hammock like a decadent actress. Four decadent actresses, all inside the same spider costume? One spider, with the arms of four-- okay! Enough of that.
Luckily, her tipsiness didn't affect her ability to type. Much. One of her feet skittered off the tablet. It was fine.
"What's with the vamp look?"
no subject
"There's a party. And I haven't gotten to dress up in some time, so... well, why not? Are you going?"
Crowley moved closer, immediately smelling the scent of wine of the spider's breath, strong enough for them to notice it before they leaned over the hammock. It made Crowley's mouth water. The hadn't had a good glass of wine in well... just as long.
"Well, well, well. Someone's been pre-gaming."
no subject
Geez, for a train that prided itself on being extra-dimensional, it sure liked its earth fashions, huh? Or maybe it was going on what the people wanted. Oh. Wait, no. This was the miracle-maker who could manifest clothing.
Nevermind all of that, then. She waved Crowley's mention of pre-gaming aside. Mostly because she had no idea what they were talking about. "I wish I was gaming right now," she typed, without thinking about it. And then, actually thinking about it:
"Nah, parties aren't designed for spiders."
no subject
"Well not with that attitude." they continued with a look of mild judgement. "What's the problem? Nothing to wear? Social anxiety? Eight left feet?"
no subject
A gesture, encompassing the whole bagpipe mess of her anatomy, made worse by how close she was to falling out of her bed. The hammock swung alarmingly. "So I ate a bunch of party food instead, that'll show them."
no subject
Crowley motioned to their own gown, as an example. "Tell me what you'd like. I have quite an imagination. We can crash this party together, if you'd like."
no subject
No, it's too late, she's thinking about it. She can't stop thinking about it. They're right, their dress looks great. She wants to look great. "Do you know the magical girl genre?"
no subject
"'Witchy' is in, this season."
