Party Time
Who: Everyone who wants to attend.
What: It's a party for all, but the pairing up part is for singles only.
When: Day 19 of Fiddlesticks
Where: Gym Carriage
Warnings: Who knows atm just Minako being Minako will add more as things happen.
[Minako figured she did the best she could for the party. Though she also wondered if perhaps she might not have that many people come. Sure she wanted to put singles together, but at the same time, she simply wanted people to have fun.
In the dressing carriage, people will find costumes and masks that were more gothic in nature. There was food and hopefully some forms of sweet treats for those looking for it as well as a variety of drink, mostly non-alcoholic.]
OOC: Examples of the type of outfits and such can be found here: costumes and

Inigo is completely in his element. Sure, the music is.. something. It's a little like the last party they had here, but that still doesn't mean it's super familiar to him. And the outfits, which are more his style, seem to be a total contrast with it. But he doesn't mind it. Dressed in a white suit (complete with cape, because he's just that dramatic) and a matching white and gold mask, Inigo has a big smile on his face and will approach just about anyone who's hovering around the edges of the dance floor.
"Okay, tell me you've done at least one dance so far, or I might just be obligated to pull you out there with me."
Why yes, the mask is giving him a confidence boost. Let the boy enjoy it while it lasts.
( for yuki )
There's one person he'll definitely be more delicate with though. Especially since Inigo remembers the last time they danced very, very well. (If not just for the awkward aftermath of him only then having realised what his words during the dance sounded like.) And he remembers that Yuki felt so awkward at the thought of dancing in front of everyone.
So there's no way he's going to force it onto the other. Instead Inigo just gives him a small, gentle smile.
"Do you think we can maybe dance here this time? Unless it's too much."
no subject
So he had stood by the wall watching for most of the party. He is a little surprised when Inigo comes to his side, though he probably shouldn't be.
"I don't really dance."
no subject
Granted, he doesn't want to be too pushy either. Taiki is a delicate being. But he knows he has to be at least a little bit pushy here to avoid the other just standing near the wall the entire time.
"Then why not get started with it now?"
no subject
"I don't know how."
And surely there were far better people for Inigo to dance with.
no subject
"That's no problem." After all, Inigo knows enough dancing skills for both of them. He holds his hand out. "I'll lead you. You trust me, right?"
no subject
He's not sure he can trust himself not to mess it up but he can trust Inigo.
no subject
And it's the easiest kind of dancing to actually lead someone in, anyway. Once he's pulled the other more onto the dance floor, Inigo's free arm moves to sneak around Taiki's back, holding him like that.
"Don't worry. All you have to do is step along with me."
And it helps that Inigo is a very capable dancer. It means that he can figure out what kind of dance might be the easiest for a beginner - making sure to step in such a way that it's near-impossible for Taiki to actually screw this up on his end.
no subject
He's only seen this kind of dancing in the odd film and even then he hasn't seen many of them. But Inigo is confident and it gives Taiki a sort of confidence as well and he moves his feet.
After a few moments he looks up from where he had been looking at his feet and smiles at Inigo.
no subject
So the moment Taiki smiles at him like that, Inigo makes absolutely sure to smile widely in return.
"It's not so bad, huh?"

He found Inigo easily enough and the silver head tilted to the side at the question about dancing in front of everyone else. "It's..ok..now that I know how to dance like everyone else." He counted that dance as lessons moreover both of how to dance and how Inigo looked at things.
no subject
Yes, Inigo, you don't even have to mention as much. It's very apparent from that big smile plastered onto your face...
"I just know everyone is going to be super jealous of me. You are clearly the best dressed person at this entire party."
no subject
The smile was followed by a self conscious laugh. "No..I don't think they'll be jealous." And then there was that last part. So he took Inigo's hand in answer, in order to make him do something else instead of run his mouth and make Yuki feel even more like shrinking into the woodwork.
"And you clearly are not real."
no subject
"If you keep saying that, you might just jinx it and turn me into a ghost." He's clearly just joking though. It's not as if Inigo minds hearing those words - quite the opposite. He's totally unsure how to handle a compliment at that level (Inigo, being good to be true, that's way too much honour for him), but he tries to accept it anyway, even while being flustered.
And now he has Yuki's hand, he can start to gently drag the other out towards the dance floor. Despite Yuki having agreed with the plan, Inigo still seems like he's making sure to be slow and careful about it, like slowly helping a kid that's learning how to swim into the deeper end of a pool.
"Although haunting you means I can hang around you forever, so it sounds like a pretty good deal to me."
no subject
So he took up his position and began to dance with his warrior, feeling more at ease here now with having learned to dance the last time they were like this. And thinking on that made him blush and try not to look at his handsome boyfriend. That blush only increased as he found the words to throw back.
"Haunting me forever almost sounds like something you'd say if you married me."
And no he's totally not looking at you now Inigo.
no subject
And honestly, how is he not supposed to only look at Yuki when the other is blushing so adorably? It's too much for his heart!
But then there's those words, and those sure get Inigo to blush as well. Although he doesn't seem to be ashamed or anything - it's more just.. he's enough of a sap that something about those words makes him feel happy enough to get a tad flustered.
"What, do you want me to save those words until then?"
Don't set up an opportunity for a reply like that if you're not ready to handle it, Yuki!
no subject
So Yuki tried to mentally chew on something else when he heard Inigo ask that question. And he just stopped. His brain stopped, his breathing stopped, his functioning stopped. Gray eyes stared almost stupidly at the warrior. Did he just hear what he thought he heard? No, right? Blinking a few times silver grey hair slipped into his eyes and a hand lifted to pull it out.
Several thoughts raced through his head and none of it was verbalized as he felt stupid for asking his next question. "You..thought about that?"
no subject
The hesitation is not there since he isn't sure of his answer - of course he's thought about it - but more just since he's unsure whether it's the right answer. Inigo knows it wouldn't be that strange back in his world, but what if Yuki's world is super different? What if he's going to make Yuki feel bad, or think Inigo is strange or something?
But lying about this would feel worse, so he opts to be honest. He keeps dancing, but his steps slow a little, like he needs to have his focus on this conversation more than on the dancing itself.
"What did you think I meant when I said I'd go to your world with you? That I was going to find someone else to marry there?"

"Hey Buddy!" He called, interrupting Inigo's attempt to bother one of the wallflowers. "You look awesome, man! Hi five for rockin' the white and gold." He raised his hand ready to slap Inigo's.
no subject
"Thanks! Purple is my favourite colour, but considering that's what I always wear here, I thought I'd try something new." .. Which is when he's taking note of Prompto's outfit, actually. And with a lot less shock or laughing than most other people would, considering this is actually quite Inigo's world's style..
"How about you? Couldn't find boots or gloves to match the rest?"
no subject
He looked down at himself as Inigo considered his outfit. "No, I just thought the clash of the two styles was cool. I was debating cutting a pattern into the tights, but decided that would take too long. It was really funny to see Gladio's face! I think he hates it." He laughs, not at all caring that his boyfriend was scandalized by his fashion sense.
no subject
That actually makes him look surprised for a moment as he takes in Prompto's outfit again.
"Is anything that bad about it? I mean.. I'm fairly sure I've worn something very similar when I was younger." Sure, he was a kid back then, but it's not like Prompto is that old. And he's a youthful kind of guy, he can pull off the look! Mostly!
Sweet Naga, does this mean that Inigo has been unfashionable all this time?! Would everyone judge him if it wasn't for the fact the train provides them with clothing?! He's having a sudden identity crisis over here.
no subject
He stopped and thoughtfully looked down again when he heard this was stylish for Inigo. Really? That was kind of cool. When he looked back, he saw the concern on his friend's face and bopped him lightly on the arm. "Hey! No stressin', man! We're not all going to have the same fashion. Something stylish one place isn't going to be cool somewhere else. It's no biggie. That's really cute that this would've been what kids from your world wear. That must be where the train got the idea! And really, look at this blue. It's so bright and cheery!"
He waggled his hips a little, finding it amusing that the bottom part was sort of shaped like a bell. He laughed and looked up at Inigo again. "Come on! Let's go dance."
no subject
"I'm not stressing!" He totally was stressing, Prompto was right on the money about that one. But something would have to be horribly off with Inigo for him to not try to instantly deny experiencing any remotely negative emotion ever.
He's easily distracted by what else Prompto says though. And while he doesn't seem to dislike the idea, judging by his facial expression, Inigo still very much looks surprised.
"You want to dance with me?"
no subject
He paused when Inigo looked so surprised about the dance request. His bright grin sobered, unsure if he'd crossed some line. "Yeah? Is that cool? Are friends allowed to dance together where you're from?"
no subject
Inigo looks a little confused at hearing that. Mostly since he doesn't realise that Prompto is only asking that since he misunderstood Inigo's surprise.. Now he's wondering if there's some rule against that in some parts of the place Prompto comes from? Now that'd be weird as hell.
But despite missing the misunderstanding, Inigo does miraculously manage to unintentionally clear it up all the same as he continues.
"I just.. didn't expect you to ask to dance with me?"
