Party Time

Who: Everyone who wants to attend.
What: It's a party for all, but the pairing up part is for singles only.
When: Day 19 of Fiddlesticks
Where: Gym Carriage
Warnings: Who knows atm just Minako being Minako will add more as things happen.

[Minako figured she did the best she could for the party. Though she also wondered if perhaps she might not have that many people come. Sure she wanted to put singles together, but at the same time, she simply wanted people to have fun.

In the dressing carriage, people will find costumes and masks that were more gothic in nature. There was food and hopefully some forms of sweet treats for those looking for it as well as a variety of drink, mostly non-alcoholic.]

[ Curufin shows up in a dark red satin suit and a top hat, to which costume he adds a black lace mask. His black hair is done in a shower of braids, and he has a big smile on his face. He's also carrying a couple of trays of sandwiches and other party food that he prepared in the kitchen before he changed into his party clothes.]

I heard you might need some more refreshments? Where shall I put them?

[ Once these are placed on the food tables, he is free to talk, drink, sample the food, and later to dance. ]

[Yugi kind of didn't see the point in wearing a mask since his hair tends to make him stand out and obvious as to who it was. But he at least tried with the outfit, but his mask was very basic and black.]

I assume with the refreshments you are helping so people don't have to potentially eat... Whatever this is?

[He gestured to something that just looked like a blob.]

[ It probably didn't make much difference whether people were wearing masks or not, since most people were distinctive in some way. Nobody could have mistaken Curufin for anyone else. Though it was true that Yugi with his spiky golden hair was particularlydistinctive. ]

I just thought I'd contribute something instead of just dancing up a storm. [ Grin, and then a look of uncertainty. ] Ah. . . good question, what is this? [ He looks closely at the blob. ] Jeez! Is it still alive???

[ He pretends to shrink away in terror. ]

[He nodded slightly. Though Yugi didn't think he could really contribute much of anything in terms of food anyway. But at the question about the blob he looked at it once more.]

Well... Maybe it was once a food item that mixed with something else and went horribly wrong. Now it wanders it's reminding time on the train trying to find it's purpose.

[ Curufin scratched his head in puzzlement. ] Perhaps you're right. The kitchen sometimes looks like a mad scientist's laboratory. Maybe some unfortunate food was used for some dreadful experiment, and it fortunately escaped but found itself horribly changed. And now it knows neither what is is nor what its reason for existing should be. Poor unfortunate food item! Even a recipe book would not help it now! [ Theatrical sob. ]

I wouldn't be surprised if that was actually the case. But its end will probably be in the bin or something. Unless someone is actually brave enough to eat it.

[But who would want to try something like that? Someone very brave.]

But apart from the food choices, the party seems to have been put together well.

[ Curufin chuckles. ] Could be! But yes, it'll probably end up in the waste bin. I'm not brave enough to eat it. Who would be?

[ No, no! Nobody eat it! Your fates will be dreadful! ]

I agree, it's a well-organized party. Hey, nice outfit, by the way! [ Not everybody would think an all-black outfit is awesome, but Curufin does. In his own world, he rarely wore anything but black. So, he has an appreciation of the fashion possibilities for the color black. ]

I don't know, guess we'll either find out or see it go into the bin.

[he paused for a moment.]

Uh, thank you. I mean there wasn't a whole lot of choices I liked, this was the closest.

[ Aziraphale turns, not quite sure if he's the one being addressed, but smiling politely as he recognizes the man. He dons a brighter outfit than suggested, something more akin to his personal style. ]

Oh, I believe there's some space on this table.

[ Having just temporarily parted with his company, the angel was well in search for refreshments that didn't have quite a...quirk to them. ]

Those look delectable.

[ Curufin smiles back at the man he met a week ago. He admires Aziraphale's costume, as it seems to have a theme of light, unlike Curufin's devilish attire. He sets the trays on the table and rearranges the various plates to make a little more room. ]

Yes, looks like there's plenty of space.

[ Curufin's food is definitely not quirky. XD ]

Thank you! Try a sandwich if you like, but most of all. . . [ He holds out a plate with some of the apple pastries on it. ] . . . try these apple tarts or the apple crisp. Glorfindel provided the recipes, but I helped him bake. These are just samples; we're going to bake a lot more later on.

Oh! [ The angel looks immediately impressed and very interested. Culinary salvation comes dressed in red, it seems. ]

Oh my, those look scrummy. [ He carefully picks one of the small apple tarts, even taking to admiring it properly. He hasn't seen proper pastries in well about half a year, and also he's a tad bit tipsy. ]
